Stopped on a Saturday afternoon about 2pm. The place was about half empty when we arrived, but was packed by the time we left.

There was a selection of about 10 taps (many of them Weyerbacher) and 50-60 bottles.

The food we selected was delicious and in more than adequate portions (my wife and I both took half our sandwiches home). Service was excellent. the waitress was attentive and prompt with beer and food delivery.

I would highly reccomend a stop here if you are in the area or passing by on Interstate 78. (it is only several minutes off the Interstate)

As a side note, the waitress told us that they were losing their lease soon, and would have to move. I wish them the best of luck finding a new location.

Stopped in after visiting the Weyerbacher open house.

Very cool place. Like the vibe, it wasn't too cheesy with the goth/Halloween theme. Nice and dark, brick one the lower parts of the walls and lit with candles and string lights. Service was attentive, helpful, and slow-paced - nice for a lazy afternoon. I couldn't decide between two IPAs on the menu, so the waitress offered a sample of each to help me make my decision.

Great beer selection. 10 on tap - all regional with about half coming from Weyerbacher and a big bottled list covering many styles.

Food was excellent. The nachos where top notch - best ever. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich - grilled instead of fried and very good. The dipping sauce for the fries was a mayo made with Blithering Idiot and was awesome. My gf had the mini me salad - great mozzarella.

Reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the food & beer - hard to beat a $4 draft. We left the open house a little early since it was packed. The restaurant was pretty empty when we got there, but within the hour it was packed. Seemed like a lot of people from the event headed there for a bite. And with good reason.

One of the Lehigh Valley's great homes for craft brews, Which Brew is my fav pub in the area.

A: The whole goth feel is pretty neat and they sell it really well with the ambiance and costumes.

Q: Unique and creative menu on both the food and brew catagories.

Svc: Servers are always very pleasant, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Sel: Always have a nice variety of regional brews including all the Weyerbacher offerings during their seasons.

F: Have some pretty cool items, wife and I chose the Portabela Sandwich/Burger, Humus, and a Pear Tart for dessert. All were excellent.

The same day I visited Porter's we crossed the street to check out Which Brew. Loved the atmosphere. It was a very goth feel to it complete with purple lights and appropriate decorations. This was complemented by great indie rock on the sound system. A nice touch was the shot of Old Heathen they were giving everyone that night. A nice but limited selection on tap, with about another 40 in bottle. They did serve several Weyerbachers, which is nice since that is one of the local breweries. Definately one I will have to get back to and spend more time at.

Very nice place in Easton. I always hit the which brew after going to Weyerbacher and getting some beer. There is a whole theme to this place (Halloween) I guess because of the whole which/witch brew thing?--and they do have a very nice selection of beer, that does make you say which brew should I have? They rotate the list often, and you can get some interesting Weyerbacher stuff that really isn't released to the masses. There food is very good, but to be honest I can only vouch for their pizza and buffalo chicken sandwhich. And the buffalo chicken is the best I've ever had. period (not kidding). They also serve their french fries with an amazing dipping sauce using the blithering idiot from Weyerbacher. It is usually not to crowded either after you go to Weyerbacher, but I have no idea how it is on a weekend night. I really like this place, and consider it a place you have to go to after going to Weyerbacher. Nice people, nice place.

Took me a while to discover this place on my returns to the Lehigh Valley to visit friends and family, but I'm so glad my friend introduced me to it.

It's two blocks down the street from Porters' Pub and is the hipster beergeek ying to the trad old school yang of Porters'.

There’s a big selection here with 10 taps and 40-some odd bottles. Selections seem to rotate through pretty quickly so what was there one week might be gone the next. Creatures of habit will be dismayed while experimenters will revel. Every time I've been there I've managed to have at least 2 beers I've never come across before. Given that the Weyerbacher brewery isn't that far away you can always find a few of their tasty treats in stock.

I can't speak for the food, but my friends vouch for it.

Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is cavern/crypt-like with lots of nooks, exposed brick, and ghoulish knick-knacks that caters to a younger crowd that wants a quasi dive/rock bar look and surly service, but with good beer and no risk of being knifed in the bathroom.

Staff is very knowledgeable and even put up with our group’s Abbott & Costello act thanks to a misprint on their holiday Mad Elf special.

They do have live music there, which if you don't like what's playing you can try to escape it in a small dining room off the main bar area. I've only been there 3 or so times, but I like it more and more each time I go back.

Went there last Saturday for lunch, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Tara told us we could sit where we wanted, so we went outside to the deck. Didn't have a spectacular view, but it was great to be outside with good food and beer.

Even though Tara wasn't a "beer chick" ( her words) she was VERY knowledgable about everything they had and did an awesome pour on the Young's Double Chocolate Stout. We kinda were probably a PIA to her - she had alot of walking back inside and out for us. She was the best server we had in ages.

Our appetizer was great, sandwiches were awesome, beer is always GREAT! and the tab was very reasonable, 4 beers, appitizer and sandwiches totaled out at about $40.00. Will go back, love it!

So it's a Saturday afternoon, and you like good beer. What's a Beer Advocate to do? Well, if you live anywhere close to Easton, Pennsylvania, you put on your drinking shoes and head there like a heat-seeking missile.

On the border of PA and NJ, Easton makes for a really nice day to wallow in craft beer (a shout out to Lew Bryson for his recent article in BA magazine - thanks for the tip). Start out at Weyerbacher Brewery, enjoy samples of many of their fine beers, and take the tour. A quick 5-minute drive later, visit Porters' Pub, a classic local bar with fine food and a good bottled selection. Then, just a block away, across the street, enter the world of Which Brew.

A welcome part of any city's bar scene, Which Brew is a must for a serious beer fan. The first thing you'll notice is the dark, almost goth-like atmosphere. Clearly aiming for a faux-horror theme, Which Brew is peppered with hanging bats, jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, ghouls, etc. Depending on your taste, you may find this cool and macabre fun, or a bit hokey.

If you can, grab one of the 12 to 14 seats available at the 2-sided bar. Otherwise, there's 8 tables towards the back, and if the sun is shining, a large patio with 9 more tables for drinking al fresco.

Check out the beer menu. 10 taps, 36 bottles. The taps are well-chosen and offer something for everyone, unless you like Natty Light. Recent offerings included Ommegang Three Philosophers, Stone Smoked Porter, Troegs HopBack Amber and Heavy Seas Weizenbock. Not bad at all. And it gets better. flag down one of the young, attractive female bartenders, and order a flight. For 5 bucks you get five 4oz samples from the tap list, a great way to try several different beers at an affordable price.

Interestingly, there are no TV's, video games or jukeboxes, although low-key rock plays in the background. Here it's all about the atmosphere, beer and food. Yes, they serve food and it's pretty darn good. I enjoyed their take on Manhattan Clam Chowder, while my buddy Steve was very pleased with both the gazpacho and chicken mole' chili. so feel free to grab some grub when you're here.

Other odds and ends. the prices are very reasonable, $4-5 for 16 oz pints, and fairly priced bottles as well. The brick facade on several walls adds a nice, classy touch. And if your dog gets too lonely staying at home, bring the scamp with you. Which Brew is dog-friendly.

A perfect ending to a perfect day in Easton, Which Brew is a fun and darkly cool way to throw down some tasty beer.

**Stony's Biscuit** - Like many other bars, Which Brew offers their patrons the opportunity to join a mug club. Ah, but there's a twist to this one. you don't have to drink x amount of beers to get a prize. All you have to do is a pay an annual fee. You will then be rewarded with your own sharp-looking 20 oz mug. which will be filled for the same price as a regular 16 oz pint. That's 25% more beer for you non-math majors out there.

This is not your typical Sports bar beer bar. It is a very family friendly atmosphere that we found very welcoming. The focus here is clearly on serving top quality craft and micro beers. The server really knew her stuff. The owner/manager introduced herself to us and talking a bit about the pub. I was interested in catching the end of a World Cup soccer game but they don't have a TV (not their focus:) or the crowd they are aiming for) so the fantastically hospitable woman called Porters Down the street and asked if we could put the game on there. She told them we were coming. After having a few beers at Which Brew we moved on down the street. I was impressed with what was on-tap. She had Wailing Wench, Brooklyn Lager, Sierra Nevada Summerfest, Weyerbacher Hefe, South Hampton Double White Ale, Boddington's Pub Ale, Sapporo, Appalachian Mountain Lager, Franziskaner HeffeWiess, and Stone IPA, all on tap. In addition to that there was a great section of bottles. She said the beers on tap are rotating regularly to have something new to sample; always a variety of styles form different areas but always quality Micro's. Fantastic!

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

We were directed here from the Weyerbacher Brewery. I think they are in cahoots with each other! Anyway, came in for a few beers. I got a Troeg's Dead Reckoning (Draft) and Mackeson XXX Draft. The service was friendly and helpful and the bar had a better than average selection. The other 3 patrons (yes, it was a little dead at 3pm) knew their Weyerbacher and I wouldn't be surprised if I was sitting next to fellow BAs.
The place was a bit dark and not in a great area. Otherwise, it's an establishment that takes their beer seriously, and that is always commendable.

On a sidenote: Their wings smelled delicious. Probably made with ginger.

Visited this place again yesterday, for lunch. The owner was behind the bar providing our service. Place was rather empty at 1:30 in the afternoon. Dimly lit bar that occupies the entire main room There are sparate dining areas off to the side and a patio out back. 8 or so taps. On this visit, the brews included Landmark India Red, Weyerbacher Quad, Troegs Trogenator, Heavy Seas Pils, Stoudt's ESB, Climax Nit Brown, Boddingtons, and Weyerbacher Autumfest. Just missed the Legacy HHH. They do carry a large selection of rotating Weyerbacher brews because the brewery is almost next door. Food is decent, almost facy, but not too expensive. There is also a decent bottle selection available. Lines have always been clean and the owner knows her stuff. Hopefully this place will stay around for a while.

The cab ride from the hotel to Which Brew was the most amusing ride I've had in years. Among other things, the cab driver let us know that boxer Larry Holmes is from Easton.

Upon approaching this place, it's situated in an older, historic district of the town. Upon entering, it's dark and gothic looking. Seems to have a Halloween feel to it. Nice bar, with several dark corners. It's almost like a cavern. Tables are spread out and there is a large outdoor patio. We sat down close to the entertainment area. There was a fellow playing acoustic guitar who knew about every classsic rock song, and sang quite well. He even played a Pink Floyd medley for us.

The beer menu was a very good mix of regional bottles and draft. They had everything from Yards to Stoudt's to Weyerbacher and Victory. The waitresses were friendly and efficient, and were very patient with us taking time to study the beer list and menu. This is a fun place to visit.

My first Beer Bar visit during a Memorial Day weekend trip to Pennsylvania, and a really nice surprise I have to say! Located at the bottom of a dip in Northampton Street, Easton, which also happens to be the home of both the Crayola Factory and Weyerbacher Breweries, as I was informed by my PA Beer Guide for the evening. Well, I stopped using crayons some years ago, and I could never call any of the Weyerbacher brews “favorites”, so I was more intent on focusing on the destination rather than the surroundings.

Situated on a block corner, the Which Brew has a rather strange exterior, not exactly in-keeping with its surroundings. A small but distinctive dark yellow text sign, the ‘C’ in Which Brew is formed from a oversized crescent moon, hangs prominently above a dark pastel painted frontage and yet even darker windows. The entrance is dog-legged, so that you enter at the right side of the Which Brew. The darkened theme continues apace once inside, you may need a second or two for your pupils to dilate and adjust to the dimly lit interior.

The short-sided end of the L-shaped bar is to your immediate left, this stretches further back to your left and seems to form the front of the building with what I think was the kitchen behind it. Stool seating lines the bar frontage as the Which Brew expands further back to reveal a small area that contained only one table it seems, my drinking partner informs me that this area is often 'opened up' & used for live music .which can be "so-so" quality wise as I was also informed . this indeed proved to be the case during my visit. After hanging round the Bar area for a short time, we headed past a darkly furbished room with a handful of tables & chairs, into a corridor that leads on to an exterior wooden deck area. Unfortunately, the outside deck area was being used for a private 21st Birthday party, a rather restrained one it seemed too, guess the Parents must have organized that one – LOL. Thankfully both the tall stool tables in the bare-brick wall lined corridor were free, so bums were placed on the vacant tall stools and the Table was ours for the evening, which was cool, we maximized the light spilling in from the outside decking entrance and the comforts of the low light interior. Lots of dark woods, bare brick walls, weird Halloween decorations, gothic greens, purples & blacks, assorted Breweriana, strange Witches & Wizards décor and a feeling that you should park your Broomstick and drink your ghoulish brews around a Coven whilst stroking Black Pussies .now there’s a thought.

Beer range was eclectic; varied enough to be interesting enough to keep newcomers here for a good hour or two without any worries. 10 Draft Taps, I recall Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Hops Infusion, Smuttynose IPA, Weyerbacher Blanche, ESB & Prophecy, Landmark Red Ale and Cricket Hill American Ale plus Boddingtons, yet the Middles Ages Wailing Wench was spied and ordered. A sampler “Flight of Five” from draft can be had for $5, but I avoided the temptation as I fancied a full pint. In addition there are around maybe 40 Bottles, perhaps even 50 at times, but the list does vary; it has a nice lively mix of styles with some regulars, some West Coast stuff I noted, some Belgian, Teutonic & Canadians, plus some local odd-balls and a few highlights including, quite literally, the Heavyweights! I am told that they frequently have a Firkin of Cask beer on draft also on Fridays, sadly the next one was scheduled for Friday 3rd June, Bugger .missed it by a week!

I initially ordered at the bar when I entered, but the second brew was ordered from the table. Bar service was curt and Table service was attentive & informative; the server knew his beers and even offered up a sample of the Weyerbacher Prophecy, which was great news ..because it sucked my hairy sack, gosh, to think I was going to order one of these, thankfully the sample saved me the embarrassment, and better still my money. The Which Brew does food, the Menu looks interesting and creative, but I never ate here, though if I returned I would make a point to, knowing what I know now.

Overall, Which Brew obviously puts a lot of effort & thought into its beer range and food menu, and the quality of the former was great. A very unique & individual bar that has a very “dark gothic” definitive characteristic feel, it would be tough to forget this one!

Thanks to my PA Beer Guide Ericaweizen for the evening ride out here and the company – plus the “Weyerbacher Warnings”. Sadly, I still have no plans to buy any Crayola’s just yet, or even any compunction to visit Weyerbacher Brewery and invest in full cases of their brews - but I would definitely come back to Easton to visit Which Brew again for sure. Well worth the journey.

Recommended. Note that it does not open Sundays & Mondays though.

Last Visit: Friday 27th May, 2005.

Great beer selection. 10 on tap - all regional with about half coming from Weyerbacher and a big bottled list covering many styles.

1. Sarah - 1 star
I did not enjoy the Witchcraft search escape room at all. The puzzles were extremely difficult and not well explained, making it impossible for our group to progress. The room itself was also poorly decorated and lacked any real atmosphere. The props were cheap and poorly made, which took away from the overall experience. The room also felt cramped and claustrophobic, making it difficult to move around and search for clues. Overall, I was disappointed with the Witchcraft search escape room and would not recommend it to others.
2. Mike - 2 stars
The Witchcraft search escape room was a bit underwhelming for me. The storyline was confusing and poorly developed, making it hard to fully engage with the game. The puzzles were also quite repetitive and lacked creativity. The room itself was small and seemed hastily put together, with little attention to detail. The customer service was also lacking, with staff members seeming disinterested and unhelpful. Overall, I left the Witchcraft search escape room feeling unsatisfied and wouldn't choose to go back again.
3. Emily - 1 star
I was extremely disappointed with the Witchcraft search escape room. The puzzles were not challenging but rather frustrating and illogical. It felt like the game relied more on trial and error than actual problem-solving skills. The decoration of the room was also lackluster and didn't create the immersive atmosphere that I expected. The overall experience was underwhelming, and I left feeling like I wasted both my time and money. I will not be recommending the Witchcraft search escape room to anyone.
