Regarding the translation, wonder whether the fan translation of the original that finished just recently with only a bit of editing left has anything to do with it. That would at least explain why this game will have an official english translation while Tsukihime Remake hasn't received any such announcement yet.
Witch on the Holy Night is a strange coming-of-age story about three high schoolers living in a mansion. It stars the mage, Aoko Aozaki, a hot-blooded powerhouse, the mysterious Witch Alice Kuonji, and Soujuuro Shizuki, the mild-mannered transfer student who is kind of forced against his will to live with the two of them in their mansion in the off-skirts of Misaki town.
You see, magic is supposed to be kept secret, and Shizuki, bless this kid, just happened to spot them in the park, doing some mage things. However, that’s bad. So after a bunch of stuff happens, Shizuki finds himself living in the mansion under supervision until Aoko and Alice can figure out what to do with him.
Instead, it was filled with vibrant colors, laughter, and music. The streets were adorned with twinkling lights, and the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Confused yet curious, the witch ventured outside to explore this newfound world. She was met with joyful townsfolk, who seemed to be celebrating a special occasion. The witch soon discovered that it was the annual "Joly Night Switch" festival, a magical event that transformed the village into a wonderland for just one night. Excitement filled her heart as she mingled with the villagers, enjoying the festivities alongside them. She danced, laughed, and shared stories with the friendly townsfolk, who welcomed her with open arms.
