It is a Sabbat that honors the ancestors and the thinning of the veil between the worlds. Samhain is a time to remember and honor those who have passed, as well as to reflect on the cycle of life and death. Finally, Yule, celebrated on December 21st, is the winter solstice Sabbat. It is a time to honor the rebirth of the sun and the return of light after the longest night of the year.
