If you were to ask me what my favorite season is, hands down every time I’ll say Fall. Something about the leaves changing color, cooler weather, blankets and sweaters makes me feel in such a good mood. Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the other seasons too,(except winter… winter is only good if you don’t have animals to go feed and water in snow) but Fall’s transition feels very calming to me. The best part is all of the Celebrations! As we approach September, Mabon is next on the list. The 7th Sabbat on the Wheel of the Year, The 2nd of the 3 Harvest Festivals and the Autumn Equinox, Mabon is referred to as the Witches Thanksgiving and is a time to focus on gratitude and balance.

Rituals and ceremonies during Mabon may involve lighting candles, performing meditations, or conducting spells and incantations related to abundance, balance, and gratitude.
