The characters were one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it impossible for me to connect with any of them. Additionally, the writing style was dull and lacked any sort of creativity. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this book and would not recommend it to anyone.
2. John - 2/5 stars - "Voodoo dolls in my immediate vicinity" had an interesting concept, but it fell flat in its execution. The pacing of the book was inconsistent, with long periods of nothing happening followed by rushed and confusing plot twists. The dialogue was often cheesy and unnatural, making it difficult to take the story seriously. The characters lacked development and were difficult to relate to. While the book had potential, it ultimately failed to deliver a satisfying reading experience.
