1. Jennifer - 1/5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Trials of Magic". The plot was confusing and felt poorly thought out. The characters lacked depth and their actions were often illogical. Additionally, the writing style was clunky and hard to follow. Overall, I found the book to be a major letdown and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
2. Mark - 2/5 stars - While "Trials of Magic" had an interesting concept, I felt that the execution fell short. The pacing was inconsistent, with long stretches of boredom followed by rushed action scenes. The world-building was lacking, leaving me with many questions that were left unanswered. I also found the dialogue to be stiff and unnatural. Unfortunately, the book didn't live up to my expectations.

The romance aspect of the story felt forced and I couldn't invest in the relationship. The plot was predictable and lacked originality.
