Why Black Magic Tire Wetting Gel is a Must-Have for Car Enthusiasts

By admin

Tire wetting gel black magic is a popular product used by car enthusiasts to enhance the appearance of their tires. This gel, known as black magic, is specially formulated to make tires look shiny and black, giving them a sleek and polished look. The main idea behind tire wetting gel black magic is to create a long-lasting shine on tires that lasts through various weather conditions. This gel is designed to repel water, dirt, and dust, preventing them from sticking to the tires and keeping them looking clean for longer periods of time. To use this product, a thin layer of gel is applied to the tire sidewall, and then allowed to dry. Once dry, the gel creates a protective barrier on the tire, giving it a glossy appearance.

Tire wetting gel black magic

Once dry, the gel creates a protective barrier on the tire, giving it a glossy appearance. The gel also helps to prevent oxidation and cracking of the tire sidewall, keeping it in good condition for longer. One of the key benefits of using tire wetting gel black magic is that it is easy to apply and does not require any additional tools or equipment.

Thread: Black Magic Tire Gel Dressing

I have to agree with qwertydude on the Black Magic Titanium wet get Its thick like syrup and very difficult to get into the ridges in my sidewall pattern. I had dab at it all the way around the tire. This made it too thick so I wiped off the excess with a terry towel (which it ruined) and the tires looked good.

The next day I cut grass pretty far from the truck but I noticed grass clippings (mulching mower) all over the tire. I got a hose and shot the clippings off with some effort (tires were somewhat sticky).

Then after a few trips I noticed the product slung onto my paint. :furious:

I also tried it on my rear bumper plastic parts and it ran onto the chrome.:angry

In the trash it went.

as for tire gels, i prefer the water based ones. if you`re going to try one, get the AA tire shine gel, it can be found just about anywhere and is around $6 a bottle which will last forever.

p.s. as i mentioned before, i like to use a leaf blower afterwards to help blowout any leftover dressing out of the tread, and it also helps aid in drying as well.

Thanks guys. I had this stuff on my tires for about a month now, and it seem to be gone. Didnt leave browning which is good. So from reading, I will assume this is not water-based.

Havent troed cleaning the tires yet, but it seem theres no dressing left on the tires.

It held up pretty well, 2 weeks gloss, 1 week matte, and now its gone. Any recommendations on ones that last about the same that is water-based?

The Black Magic Titanium Matte is water based and is an extremely good product. It does not have any of the properties of any gel. It is durable and it dries completely so that it will not hold dust etc. It has a "new tire" appearance.

The reason I havent tried Black Magic Matte is because its a spray. Can you apply it with an applicator or u have to spray it on. Thats the only reason I use gel. Comments =)

I spray Black Magic Matte onto a sponge and spread it over the tire. I know that there is a suggestion you have to spray it on directly but I don`t and it works great.

The one thing (other than the appearance) that I like is that it goes on thin and dries. I am applying it to Michelins and it works fine on them. I too was a gel user but not anymore. I actually think this stuff outlasts the gels.

Do a search; there are other threads on this board about this stuff.

i`m personally a user of the black magic tire shine gel and i love it. i apply it using a foam block i purchased off of detailersdomain, and i find it works great. so far the one bottle i`ve bought has lasted me over 20 applications and maybe 1/3 still left. the foam app block makes it much easier to apply, spread, and wipe around ensuring a nice even application that doesn`t "sling" off when the car is driven. my favorite two things are the fact it doesn`t sling even if driven directly after use (which of course has to do with how i apply it), and it lasts weeks on end.

to hard core tire shine users let me give you a heads up, when used often (was washing and then dressing my 2004 S2000 two to three times a week) this product can start to built up quite a bit. if you find this happening to you, simply use your favorite tire cleaner/APC and agitate with a stiff brush. This helps to even out the build up, and ends up giving a really awesome matte finish that lasts for weeks.

if you don`t like this product, or have had bad results, be careful how you applied it as it makes all the difference. find the tire shine that bests fits your needs (how it`s applied, the matte vs shiney look, durability, cost, etc) and stick with it.

Tire wetting gel black magic

It can be applied using a sponge or cloth, making it a convenient option for car owners. Additionally, the gel is designed to be long-lasting, so one application can provide shine and protection for several weeks. However, it is important to note that tire wetting gel black magic should be used on clean and dry tires for best results. The gel will not adhere properly to dirty or wet surfaces, and may not provide the desired shine and protection. Therefore, it is recommended to clean the tires thoroughly before applying the gel. In conclusion, tire wetting gel black magic is a popular product used to enhance the appearance of tires. It creates a long-lasting shine and provides protection against water, dirt, and dust. While it is easy to apply, it is important to use it on clean and dry tires for optimal results. Overall, this product can be a great addition to any car enthusiast's detailing routine..

Reviews for "Say Goodbye to Faded Tires: Black Magic Tire Wetting Gel to the Rescue"

1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Tire wetting gel from Black Magic. First of all, it was way too messy to apply. It just kept dripping everywhere and made a huge mess on my garage floor. Secondly, it didn't even last a week before it started to wear off. I expected the gel to provide a long-lasting shine, but it just didn't deliver. I won't be buying this product again.
2. Sarah - 1 star - This Tire wetting gel from Black Magic was a complete waste of money. I followed the instructions carefully and applied it to my tires, but it did nothing to enhance their appearance. The gel dried up too quickly and left a sticky residue on the surface of the tires. Plus, it didn't even make them look shiny or glossy as advertised. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable tire shine option.
3. Michael - 2 stars - I thought the Tire wetting gel from Black Magic would give my tires a deep black finish, but I was left disappointed. The gel was difficult to apply evenly and left streaks on the tires. Moreover, it didn't seem to protect the tires from drying or cracking. I noticed that they still looked dull and worn out after using this product. I will be seeking a better alternative for tire shine in the future.
