Exploring the Origins of The Magic Moment Original

By admin

The magic moment is a concept or a phenomenon that describes a singular moment or experience that is both magical and transformative. This moment is often unexpected and can occur in various aspects of life, such as personal relationships, career milestones, or even in nature. In personal relationships, the magic moment can be a moment of connection and understanding between two individuals. It can be a moment where two people share an intimate conversation, a deep bond is formed, or a realization is made about the importance of the other person in their life. This moment can bring about a sense of joy, love, and fulfillment. In terms of career milestones, the magic moment can be the moment when an individual achieves a long-term goal they have been working towards.

In terms of career milestones, the magic moment can be the moment when an individual achieves a long-term goal they have been working towards. This can be a promotion at work, a successful business venture, or any significant achievement that brings a sense of accomplishment and recognition. This moment can be a turning point in their career and can pave the way for further growth and success.

Depression & Other Magic Tricks

You know that a book is good when you highlight/mark something in the acknowledgements of the author.

Depression & Other Magic Tricks by Sabrina Benaim is a collection of poems dealing with depression: thoughts, what she wishes others knew, conversations she had, the struggle and finally, the hope they have that they will be well someday.

While the poem “Explaining My Depression to My Mother” has become the poem associated with Benaim it was her poem “On Releasing Light” that I got the “feelz” from. Yes, I deliberately put the “z” there as Benaim does not just give you “feelings” she gives you something more. Okay, one of the poems that I got the shivers from.

I had post-it noted the heck out of the book up to this point. I wrote in my book (okay I penciled a few stars and underlined a few things). I had even talked about poems to a friend who had sent me links to Benaim performing her slam poetry on You-Tube. As I have access to the books, I could gift her a copy.

Yet this one poem made me journal my thoughts. This book has blown me away. I knew I loved it from the first poem. When I read this poem, I stopped for a bit as I could not go on after it. It took me awhile to read as I was trying to digest each nugget. This is one of those rare books you want to rush through but also take your time with.

Even if you have not suffered from depression, anxiety or other mental health issues this is a great book to read. If you have not had a family member or friend or other loved one suffering this is a great book to read. If you have or are dealing with mental issues please read. It showed me that I was not alone. There are others who have had and are having the same thoughts, feelings and issues that I have. Gift this book to others. Keep copies at home, work and your bag. You will thank me for it!

on releasing light

in some stories,
the protagonist has to kill the bad thing to release its light.

in my story,
i am the protagonist & the bad thing,
i have to learn how to bend the light out of myself.

i can do that
magic

I really love how easy it was for me to read this one yet going through various shades of emotions with each passing page! I could really connect with the writer and I was able to understand what the lines meant to convey.
This book is just not only about mental health issues. It talks about how we are as a person, how different and alike we are from our parents, what being single feels like (out of context maybe but relatable sadly), loneliness, being in love and the usual things one loves!

Nature is also a source of magic moments. It can be a moment when one witnesses a breathtaking sunrise or sunset, the beauty of a blooming flower, or the tranquility of a peaceful forest. These moments can create a sense of awe, wonder, and appreciation for the natural world, reminding us of its inherent magic and the importance of preserving it. The magic moment is often characterized by a feeling of time standing still, as if everything else fades away and the individual is completely present in that moment. It can bring about a sense of inspiration, joy, and clarity, propelling individuals to pursue their passions, achieve their goals, or simply appreciate the beauty of life. While the magic moment is often unpredictable, individuals can cultivate an open mindset and embrace the present moment in order to increase the likelihood of experiencing such moments. By practicing mindfulness, gratitude, and being open to new experiences, individuals can invite more magic moments into their lives and create lasting memories..
