In the tales of magic and enchantment, there is a character known as the virgin witch. She is a captivating figure, shrouded in mystery and grace. That last is apparently to teach her about choosing between her happiness or the happiness of the world, because if she really feels so strongly about what she’s doing then she should be willing to make the sacrifice for the common good, but, then again, she’s forbidden from interfering anyway, so… yeah, I don’t really get it.
I love the magic and some of the characters, but the themes and plot are so convoluted they turn out weak in the end, and the plot is all over the place. As one of the most powerful witches of her era, she can be like a godsend when her arrival happens to save one s life, but to many, her antics are a costly, insurmountable obstacle.
Through her connection with the natural world, she draws her power and uses it for both good and evil. Despite the name, the virgin witch is not always portrayed as celibate or inexperienced in love. Instead, her virginity signifies purity and untouched potential.

Ann Michelle (House of Whipcord) and Vicki Michelle (BBC’s ’Allo ’Allo!) star as a pair of miniskirted birds who travel to a remote castle in order to land a contract in the modeling agency of the mysterious lesbian Sybil Waite (Patricia Haines). Only then do they realize that the agency is a means of procuring fresh victims for a witch’s coven. Sybil’s plan goes awry when she discovers that one of the virginal sisters is hardly an innocent victim—but is gifted with deadly supernatural powers.
