So I used to watch this all time at my Granny's house when I was super young. It was the English dub under the title "The Magic Pony." It seems like it's a straight up adaption of the fairy tale (which I've never read) with few deviations. Some WEIRD stuff goes on here, but it's a non-Disney-fied fairy tale from Russia, so I give it a pass. The animation is old, but beautiful.
