The Brigham Young University (BYU) Cougarettes continue to make a splash with their unstoppable team this season. From their viral video half time performance with their mascot, to gracing the cover of Dance Spirit Magazine - it’s clear the Cougarettes are a team to be reckoned with!
Weeks after claiming two national championships at NDA Nationals in D1 Jazz and D1 Hip Hop , the Cougarettes represented the United States at the 2019 International Cheer Union (ICU) World Cheerleading Championships , placing second in the Team Cheer Hip Hop division.
“It was an incredible experience, one we’ll never forget,” said Cougarettes head coach Jodi Maxfield, “Representing your country is such an honor, and we are proud of winning silver in a very tough field of competitors from around the world!”
To represent their country for such a momentous occasion, the team designed a new custom uniform. Drawing inspiration from their National's hip hop outfit of an all-white bomber jacket and matching leggings , they added an American flag on the back and ‘USA’ down the front of the jacket.
“The costumes from The Line Up were so fitting as we were the US National Hip Hop team, and wearing the flag on our back certainly made a powerful statement,” said Jodi.

I was really disappointed with "The Magic Christian Cast". The plot was so disjointed and confusing that I couldn't even follow what was happening most of the time. It felt like the filmmakers were trying too hard to be quirky and offbeat, but it just came across as messy and nonsensical. The performances were also lackluster, with most of the actors seeming like they didn't really know what they were doing. Overall, I found this film to be a frustrating and forgettable experience.
