Review:

This cheerful 'cartoon musical' presents the toilet as a 'warm, loving, friendly, motherly, protective figure,' putting a positive spin on potty training. A girl shows her playmates her newly acquired toilet skills, and the bathroom contents (toothbrushes, soap, toilet paper, and the friendly toilet bowl) burst out in song. While visiting the zoo with his dad, a boy 'wants to go pee in the toilet' because his diaper is wet and his dad did not bring any replacements. His father sings a song to help the youngster 'spray at the target.' A young girl wants 'beautiful panties' so she gives up her bulky diapers. This film promotes good toilet habits (flushing and washing hands). The cartoonlike animation, sprightly songs, warm mood, and fast pacing will appeal to the target audience of toddlers reluctant to use the bathroom. --Booklist, Abby Alpert

The Magic Bowl addresses the sensitive family topic of toilet training in a fun, and encouraging way. The movie encourages weaning off the diaper while accepting the emotions and difficulties of the training process. The movie is a must see for all parents of children reaching the age of toilet training Thank you so, so much! --Prof Avi Sade Department of Psychology, Tel-Aviv University

The magic bowl

She had been playing near the temple when she noticed the shimmering bowl sitting on a pedestal. Intrigued by its beauty, she reached out and touched it. Immediately, she felt a tingle of energy and knew that something extraordinary had happened. Maya was a kind-hearted girl and had always wished to help those in need. She knew that she had been chosen by the gods to use the magic bowl. With great excitement, she used the bowl to grant her first wish - she wished for all the hungry people in her village to have food. The next day, the village was filled with abundant food. Everyone marveled at Maya's generosity and wondered how she had done it. Maya, with a smile on her face, explained the power of the magic bowl and how she had used it to help others. News of Maya's magic bowl spread to neighboring villages, and soon people from far and wide came to seek her help. Maya used the bowl to grant wishes for the sick to be healed, for the poor to have shelter, and for the lonely to find companionship. The magic bowl brought happiness and prosperity to all those who crossed Maya's path. However, as time went on, Maya started to feel overwhelmed by the constant requests for help. She had exhausted the bowl's power and felt a sense of emptiness. She realized that despite all the good she had done, there was still suffering in the world that she couldn't eliminate. Maya sought guidance from the village elders, who explained to her that the true power of the magic bowl was not in its ability to grant wishes, but in its ability to inspire others. The bowl was meant to be a symbol of hope and a reminder that each person had the power to make a difference. With this newfound understanding, Maya embraced her role as a catalyst for change. She used her experiences with the magic bowl to inspire others to help those in need, empowering them to make a positive impact on the world. And so, the magic bowl continued its journey, inspiring kindness and compassion wherever it went. It taught people to not only rely on their wishes but also to take action and make a difference. From that day on, Maya and the magic bowl became legends, reminding people of the power of good deeds and the magic that lies within each of us..
