for me the only thing that could be trustworthy in this series is a letter from Miya to Tatsuya explaining everything, and even then I would be suspicious. My references are volume 2 where Tatsuya thinks that he was born unable to use agic and used Flash Cast to complete his task when Mizuki saw, 4 where it was revealed to be a Yotsuba technique and his poor magic skills where displayed, 8 where his status as BS magician is prominent and 16 when Katsushige said himself that they gave him Flash Cast to allow him to use magic.

Looking at Miyuki and Tatsuya now, it might be hard to imagine them as anything other than loving siblings. But it wasn't always this way.
Three years ago, Miyuki was always uncomfortable around her older brother. The rest of their family treated him no better than a lowly servant, even though he was the perfect Guardian, watching over Miyuki while she lived a normal middle school life. But what really bothered her was that he never showed any emotions or thoughts of his own.
However, when danger comes calling during a fateful trip to Okinawa, their relationship as brother and sister will change forever.

@ Wikia contributor 75.11.162.235 Taking away his emotions wasn't a side-effect, but the real reason for messing with his mind at all. Well, then it was a job awfully badly done. So, I don't think so. What would they have done with a robot?

Reviews for "The Art of Magic in The Irregular at Magic High School: Visualizing Spells and Magical Battles"

1. Alice - 2 stars - I found "The Irregular at Magic High School" series to be extremely repetitive and predictable. The plot seemed to revolve around the main character showcasing his immense power and saving the day every time. The lack of character development made it difficult for me to connect with any of them. Additionally, the writing style felt flat and lacked any real depth. Overall, I was disappointed with this book series as it failed to deliver an engaging and original storyline.
2. James - 1 star - "The Irregular at Magic High School" is one of the most overhyped series I have come across. The entire narrative was filled with excessive infodumps and unnecessary technical jargon, making it incredibly tedious to read. The characters were one-dimensional, lacking any real personality or growth. The romance aspect felt forced and didn't add any depth to the plot. I was hoping for an exciting magical world, but instead, was met with a lackluster story that left me feeling bored and uninterested.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - I couldn't get into "The Irregular at Magic High School" series at all. The pacing felt off, with long stretches of nothing happening followed by rushed action scenes. The author tried to create a complex magical system, but it was poorly explained and confusing. The dialogue was also stilted, and the interactions between characters felt unnatural. I struggled to finish the first book and had no desire to continue with the series. Overall, I found it to be a disappointing and unremarkable read.
4. Michael - 1 star - "The Irregular at Magic High School" series felt like a generic, uninspired take on the magical academy trope. The main character was an overpowered, emotionless protagonist who seemed to have no real challenges or obstacles to overcome. The plot lacked any real depth or originality and relied heavily on tired clichés. The world-building felt half-hearted, and the side characters were forgettable. Overall, I found the series to be a shallow and uninteresting read that offered nothing new to the genre.
