The Amulet epic is a popular fantasy series written by Kazu Kibuishi. Supplies for one broom are included in the workshop. Your broom will be made with natural, undyed, and unprocessed broomcorn , nylon twine, and you will be given a beautiful ash wood handle (naturally finished, rough to the touch, symbolic of primal life). You can bring (but it is optional) any charms to tie to a hanging cord on your broom.

This in-person workshop gives you the supplies and know-how to create a “cobweb style” broom, the favorite of the teacher. Not only is it absolutely functional for use around your home, but it is the witchiest looking broom!

No prior experience needed, but you will need to hold a tensioning device for 20-30 minutes, without stopping, once you begin the process of broom making. (If you need accommodations, please email ahead of time).
