| Instructions | Specimen should be immediately transferred to the provided sampling FIT/ICT device by the patient or provider at time of specimen collection. Specimen stability outside of the collection device is unknown. FIT/ICT devices are acceptable up to 14 days after collection; keep refrigerated at 2-8 C if delay is anticipated. Submitting raw stools instead of the approved collection device is strongly discouraged. Raw stools must be transferred into the collection device within 4 hours to be acceptable for testing.
