As a long-time fan of the Arizona State Sun Devils, I am extremely disappointed with their choice of mascot and team colors. The sun devil mascot looks more like a cheesy cartoon character than a fierce symbol of our team. Additionally, the combination of maroon and gold is played out and lacks the creativity and uniqueness that other teams possess. It's about time the team reevaluates their mascot and colors to better represent the strength and competitiveness of the Sun Devils.

I've never been a fan of the sun devil mascot and team colors of Arizona State University. It just feels so cliché and uninspiring. The mascot looks more like a gimmick than a true representation of the team's values and spirit. The maroon and gold colors are overused and don't stand out from the sea of similar color combinations used by other teams. It's time for the Sun Devils to revamp their mascot and choose a color scheme that truly sets them apart from the rest.
