EFFECT:

The Performer takes out a small wooden box. It has a slit on the top and bottom. A small sheet of plexiglass is placed inside. It fills the bottom of the box from edge to edge, making any penetration impossible.

The box is shut and closed. A coin is borrowed and marked with a Sharpie. The Performer drops the coin through the slit in top of the box and, as impossible as it sounds, the coin passes through the plexiglass and falls out of the bottom slit.

The Performer opens the box to be examined. The plexiglass still fills the bottom of the box, covering the slit.
