Because all of the film’s shining moments and character traits are thrown aside for ungodly standard violence—neck snaps, slashing at peoples faces like an oversized cat, and doors slamming shut only to see blood splatter coating the other side. If the film was about a ghost driving people insane and had an atypical visual and audio aesthetic to compliment that angle, American Poltergeist: The Curse of Lilith Ratchet would have been far more immersive, and at least worth the runtime.
While Newberry, Cushman, and Roger Conners do pretty decent jobs with the material they re given, the rest of the cast are mostly just mobile planks of wood, and I couldn t care less. Next up on my review plate was the latest (and greatest) feature film from Eddie Lengyel known as The Curse of Lilith Ratchet. I reviewed another Lengyel film back in September Mother Krampus 2: Slay Ride and at the time I felt Slay Ride was his best looking flick. Well, that’s only because I hadn’t seen Ratchet yet. This takes the cake in that department as it looks phenomenal. This may be a ‘low budget’ indie film but it certainly doesn’t look or feel that way.
The film has been officially titled American Poltergeist: The Curse of Lilith Ratchet as it is the next installment in the popular “American Poltergeist” series, which is current ly available on Netflix.
SPOILER ALERT: This review will talk openly about some plot points of the film. I’ll try not to ruin any major surprises but if you want to be totally spoiler free skip this until you’ve watched the film.

I was really excited to try the Reversql magic mirror, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The mirror itself was poorly made and felt cheap. The reversing feature was also not as effective as I had hoped. The image was distorted and unclear, making it difficult to rely on the mirror for accurate reflection. Overall, I was quite disappointed with this product and wouldn't recommend it.
