I noticed that the ambition to obtain the amulet requires all of traits ambitious ruthless envious and tyrant. Is this WAD or is it supposed to be one of the traits.

No, it doesn't. Those are modifiers to either get the events or choose the ambition; in fact, being a tyrant decreases your odds of getting it in events. It would a serious bug if that was the case
