I'm thinking about adding these to my build, but I'd like to see them in person. Anybody see them up close or own them? Thought or impressions?

If you get them before I do. Can you Please post a little review?

I spoke to a Pentair rep. They sent me some additional pics and gave me some general info. They weigh about 60 pounds, are made of a composite material and have a smooth finish.

The grey conduit is a drain for the light engine area. There are 3 holes in the bowl two go below grade one for the water in the bowl and the other of the light. The 90 is just to ensure the light engine doesn't get flooded. When the PB drops the bowl and light engine off I'll take some more pictures.

That would be great. We are on vacation and coming back on Thursday. We will be ordering ours then. There was no rush, as we will be starting our build in August or September

One piece of advice the bowl sits on the white base. The flange needs to be the same height as the finished coping. Ours is sunken a little less than a 1/4 in and in some spots can see some of the leds from below. The bowls are flat on the coping but it's stone so there's a small gap.

I'm going to put a bead of window caulk on the edge of the coping, let it dry and place the bowl on it sort of like a gasket.

Whether you want to create a tranquil atmosphere or make a bold statement, a magic bowl is the perfect choice..

Reviews for "Enhance the Performance of Your Water Filtration System with Pentair Maguc Bowls"

I was extremely disappointed with the Pentair magic bowls. The installation process was a nightmare, the instructions were confusing and there were missing parts. The bowl itself started leaking within a week and despite contacting customer service multiple times, I received no assistance. The quality of the material used is also poor as it started chipping and fading within a few months. Overall, a waste of money and time.

I had high hopes for the Pentair magic bowls, but unfortunately, they did not live up to my expectations. The design of the bowl is quite appealing, however, the functionality is lacking. The water flow is inconsistent and sometimes the water does not circulate properly, leaving stagnant spots in the bowl. Additionally, the lighting feature stopped working after just a few weeks of use. For the price, I expected a more durable and reliable product.
- Mike - 3 stars
I purchased the Pentair magic bowls for my backyard and while I appreciate the concept and aesthetics, I found the maintenance to be quite tedious. The bowl requires regular cleaning as leaves and debris easily get trapped in the water jets. It also takes a while to properly adjust the water flow and get the desired effect. While it can be a nice addition to outdoor decor, be prepared for the extra effort required to keep it in good condition.
