Thread: Patch Help -- badge magic or.

I have been negligent attaching little patches ds1 has earned at karate to his uniform.

Badge Magic was recommended to me & I was told I could go buy it at a Girl Scout store that's about 30 minutes away. (I didn't even know there was such a store! Or even that this type of product exists!)

Of course, I suddenly feel compelled to take care os this immediately.

Is there something sold at Michaels or AC Moore or JoAnns that I should get instead? They are all much closer.

I am sure that they sell a similar product (if not badge magic) at Joannes. It is basically like double sided fabric tape. Super sticky!

You can get it at the Boy Scout store too.

I have used both Aileene's Fabric Fusion and Badge Magic to attach DDs' badges to their Girl Scout uniforms. Fabric Fusion is basically fabric glue and I have seen it at Joann's and Michael's. It is messier than Badge Magic, and you have to allow for drying time, since it's glue. The Badge Magic is more "instantaneous" and less messy (basically double stick tape like someone else mentioned), but also doesn't "hold" as well in my experience.

I don't think the Badge Magic is worth it. I used it for some badges this year and they are all falling off. I had to sew them on anyway.

I know that some people use fabric glue.

My experience is that it works way better for GS badges than ironing on or fabric glue (I have Fabri-tac). Amazon has Badge Magic.

I use Badge Magic for my daughter's GS patches, and it works great for us. But she doesn't wear her vest a lot, and I don't wash it (there hasn't been a need). So I'm not sure how it would hold up with a lot of wear and tear.

I have used badge magic. I think its great to hold the badge in place, but if you are planning on washing the garment, I would not use it. I have sewn them on, had a friend sew on a few, and even had the drycleaners sew on some of the badges. No worries of losing anything when they are sewn on.

I hate badge magic. I think it sucks. Hard to manage getting it off the paper, gets all over my fingers, and doesn't adhere the stuff for long. I have it, and I use it in a pinch, but I don't recommend it, and I always sew in addition when I get time after using the badge magic. I just sit there in front of the TV and sew. Whcih also sucks. A trick is to sew into the stitching to make it easier, and only at key points, not all the way around or I'd be there till forever.

Reviews for "Tapping into Nature's Energy: Unveiling Pagan Spiritual Centers near Me"

1. Rebecca - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to visit this pagan spiritual center in my area, but I left feeling extremely disappointed. The supposed "spiritual leaders" were condescending and judgmental, making me feel unwelcome and out of place. The whole atmosphere was overly commercialized and lacking in any genuine spirituality. I expected a more open and inclusive space for people interested in pagan practices, but instead, it felt like a tourist trap. Overall, I would not recommend this center to anyone seeking an authentic pagan experience.
2. Matthew - 1/5 stars - I had high hopes for this pagan spiritual center, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The staff seemed more interested in selling me expensive crystals and tarot decks than in actually fostering a sense of spirituality. The teachings provided were surface-level and lacked depth, making me question the authenticity of the center's intentions. The lack of diversity and representation in the center's events and activities was also disheartening. I left feeling like this place was more interested in making money than in creating a genuine spiritual community.
3. Emily - 2/5 stars - I had a negative experience when I visited this pagan spiritual center. The staff was standoffish and showed little interest in helping me understand and explore my spiritual path. The center seemed more focused on attracting customers for their new age products rather than fostering a sense of spiritual growth. The workshops and classes I attended lacked substance and felt rushed, leaving me with more questions than answers. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this center to anyone seeking a meaningful and authentic pagan experience.
