Ojamajo Doremi is a popular anime series that features a group of girls who are looking to become witch apprentices. The story follows 27-year-old Tokyo office worker Mire Yoshizuki who just returned to Japan, 22-year-old fourth-year college student Sora Nagase who aspires to be a teacher, and 20-year-old boyish, part-time Hiroshima okonomiyaki shop worker and freelancer Reika Kawatani. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the “Ojamajo Doremi” TV anime series, the anime film “Looking for Witch Apprentices” (魔女見習いをさがして) starts streaming the final trailer before it debuts in Japan’s theatres on 13th November.

The three adult protagonists share a common affinity of “Ojamajo Doremi” and thus embark on a journey to search for the legendary witches. The trailer is highlited by the franchise’s most famous theme song “Ojamajo Carnival!!” (おジャ魔女カーニバル!!)

Japanese Actress Aoi Morikawa, former SKE48 member Rena Matsui, and idol group Momoiro Clover Z leader Kanako Momota play as the three protagonists.

Synopsis
