Captains selected for 2024 NHL Mascot Showdown presented by Upper Deck

Being selected as captain of an NHL team is one of the greatest honors for any player.

It’s no different for mascots.

For the 2024 NHL Mascot Showdown presented by Upper Deck, which will take place during NHL All-Star Weekend, two mascots received that special honor.

The Western Conference will be represented by Chicago Blackhawks’ own Tommy Hawk, who is also the current “Mascot of the Year.” The Eastern Conference team captain will be Carlton from the host Toronto Maple Leafs.

The two captains will face off during the 2024 Hyundai NHL Fan Fair, which takes place between Feb. 1-4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. You can purchase tickets to the event here.

Mark your calendars! 2023 brings the NHL® All-Star games back and beachside this February in sunny Sunrise, Florida for another star-studded weekend. From Thursday, February 2 nd – Saturday, February 4 th , players and fans alike will partake in friendly but fierce competition between the action-packed games and festivities taking place.

And with both the Eastern and Western Conferences present, it only makes sense that the NHL® mascots would come along too! I was extremely disappointed with the Magic Carpet Mat. First of all, the quality of the mat was very poor. It started to unravel and fray within a few weeks of use. Secondly, the design of the mat didn't live up to its claims. It was supposed to be non-slip, but I found myself slipping and sliding all over the place whenever I stepped on it. Overall, I would not recommend this product as it did not meet my expectations in terms of quality or functionality.

I found the Magic Carpet Mat to be just average. While it did provide some extra cushioning and comfort underfoot, I didn't find it to be anything special. The design and appearance of the mat were also quite plain and unimpressive. Additionally, I noticed that it didn't fit perfectly in my hallway, leaving some gaps on the sides. Overall, it did the job, but I wouldn't purchase it again or recommend it to others.

I had high hopes for the Magic Carpet Mat, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The biggest issue I had with it was the cleaning process. It quickly became dirty and stained, and no matter how much I tried to clean it, the stains wouldn't come out. The mat also didn't seem very durable, as it started to show signs of wear and tear after just a few months of use. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the product and wouldn't buy it again.

The Magic Carpet Mat was a waste of money. I found it to be extremely slippery, even on dry surfaces. I ended up tripping and nearly injuring myself multiple times because of this. The mat also didn't lie flat on the floor, causing it to constantly curl up at the corners. I ended up returning it as it was a safety hazard and not worth the trouble. Would not recommend!

I found the Magic Carpet Mat to be just average. While it did add a pop of color to my entryway, I wasn't impressed with its functionality. It didn't absorb water well, and whenever it got wet, it became extremely slippery. Additionally, the mat didn't stay in place and often moved around when stepped on. It was also quite difficult to clean, as dirt and debris would get stuck in the textured surface. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with this product and wouldn't buy it again.
