Wondering about some of the major deities of the ancient Celtic world? Although the Celts consisted of societies all over the British Isles and parts of Europe, some of their gods and goddesses have become a part of modern Pagan practice. Here are some of the deities honored by the ancient Celtic peoples.

Did You Know?

  • Many of the deities from Celtic mythology were influenced by the pantheons of other groups that invaded the British Isles.
  • The Celts didn't leave us any information about their gods and goddesses, so much of what we know is from the writings of Julius Caesar and his contemporaries, as well as Christian monks who came along later.
  • Celtic deities were generally connected to various aspects of daily life, such as domestic and labor-related tasks, and elements of the natural world, like streams, trees, or hills.

Not only are the toppings varied, but the crusts in this enchanted realm are truly extraordinary. Traditional thin crusts or thick and fluffy ones can be found, each with its own unique texture and taste. Some pizzaiolos even infuse their crusts with herbs, garlic, or cheese, adding yet another layer of magic to their creations.

A daughter of the Dagda, Brighid is one of the classic triple goddesses of the Celtic pantheon. Many Pagans honor her today as a goddess of the hearth and home, and of divination and prophecy. She's often associated with the Imbolc sabbat, as well as with fire, domesticity, and family life. Brighid was the patron of poets and bards, as well as healers and magicians. She was especially honored when it came to matters of prophecy and divination.

Magical World Pizza was a terrible experience for me. The pizza was greasy and the crust tasted like cardboard. The toppings were sparse and lacked any flavor. The service was slow and the staff seemed disinterested in helping customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good pizza experience. Save your money and go somewhere else.
2. Sarah - 2 stars
I had high hopes for Magical World Pizza, but sadly, it fell short of my expectations. The pizza was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the high price tag. The flavors were bland and the cheese seemed cheap. The service was average, nothing particularly bad but also nothing exceptional. Overall, I won't be returning to this place as there are much better pizza options available in the area.
3. Mike - 1 star
I regretted visiting Magical World Pizza. The dough was undercooked and chewy, while the sauce had a strange tangy taste that didn't sit well with me. The cheese didn't have that gooey, stretchy texture that you expect from a good pizza. The service was also lacking, as our order took forever to arrive and the staff seemed unorganized. Definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone craving a delicious pizza.
