The author, Ludmila Vengrovskaya, was born in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia. She grew up in an environment where the traditional craftsmen’s way of life was commonplace for the residents within the city. During her childhood, Ludmila listened to fascinating fairy tales and folk stories, as well as enjoying and advancing her own arts and crafts skills. These things, with time, developed Ludmila’s imagination and she became a very creative artist and later a writer.

After moving to England to start a family, Ludmila continued to develop her creative skills and became a graphic designer, teacher and children’s book writer. In her first written and self-illustrated children’s fiction book, Seven Woodlands Magic Stories, Ludmila combined her vivid imagination with some elements of folklore fairy tales. She presented her charming and colourful magical stories with underlining morals that teach young readers to choose to behave in the right way in life.

The kids fell in love with the characters in this wonderful descriptive children's book, they even started to draw them, this is something I was especially impressed with as it encouraged my children to create art, very much like the art that the Author Ludmila Vengrovskaya has illustrated in this book!

They often act as guides or companions to those who enter the woodlands, offering wisdom and assistance. 1. Sarah - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to visit the magical woodlands but I was left feeling disappointed. The attractions were overpriced and not very impressive. The supposed "magical" experiences were lackluster and underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested and the whole place just lacked the enchanting atmosphere I was expecting. Overall, I wouldn't recommend visiting the magical woodlands if you're seeking a truly magical experience.

2. Jake - 1/5 stars - I have never felt so let down by a tourist attraction. The magical woodlands were nothing more than a poorly executed money-grab. The entry fee was outrageous for what was essentially a walk in the park. The so-called magical creatures were nothing more than cheap animatronics that barely worked. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I would advise everyone to steer clear of this disappointing tourist trap.

3. Emma - 2/5 stars - I had heard so much hype about the magical woodlands, but it fell short of my expectations. The lines for the attractions were ridiculously long and the staff seemed disorganized. The ticket prices were exorbitant for what was essentially just a fancy garden with a few decorations. The food and drink options were limited and overpriced. It was a shame because with some improvements, the magical woodlands could have been a truly enchanting experience.

4. Alex - 2/5 stars - The magical woodlands was a letdown. The advertised interactive experiences were few and far between. The attractions felt outdated and in need of refurbishment. The whole place lacked the magical ambiance it promised. I left feeling underwhelmed and like I had wasted my money. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly magical experience.
