Totally agree, I've never found Apple's Bluetooth keyboards to be laggy. It may also come down to what you perceive as "lag." I also have Logitech K380 and K600 keyboards that support both Bluetooth and wireless dongles. The only time that I experience any "lag" with either of these brand keyboards (or mice) is when the device is woke up from a deep sleep. It may take a couple of seconds for a Bluetooth or wireless device, especially one that has the amazing battery life of these devices, to wake up, but once it is awake I cannot detect any lag that interferes with the steady state operation of the device. Perhaps some people see that initial wake-up delay as lag. Whatever.

I do have to remind myself to occasionally roll the little thing over and insert its feeding tube when I m not planning to use the thing for a while, like overnight or over lunch. Reviews for "Apple's Magic Trackpad Black: A Look at its Technology and Innovation"

I was really disappointed with the Magic Trackpad Black. First of all, the design is really uncomfortable to use. The surface is too slippery, making it difficult to control the cursor accurately. Additionally, the trackpad is quite small, which makes it even harder to navigate. The lack of physical buttons also takes away from the experience, as I often accidentally click or right-click when I'm just trying to move the cursor. Overall, I found this trackpad to be a frustrating and inefficient tool.

I regret purchasing the Magic Trackpad Black. The connectivity with my Mac was a constant issue. I had to constantly reconnect the trackpad or restart my computer to get it working again. The battery life was also disappointing. It drained way too quickly, even when I wasn't using it for long periods of time. And to make things worse, the trackpad would sometimes freeze or lag, making it practically unusable. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I found the Magic Trackpad Black to be overpriced for the features it offers. While it is aesthetically pleasing, the functionality leaves much to be desired. The gestures and scrolling were not as smooth as I expected, often requiring multiple attempts to execute properly. The lack of tactile feedback also made it difficult to know if my input was registered. For the price, I would have expected a more reliable and intuitive experience.
