Additionally, these cities are often characterized by their impressive architecture, iconic landmarks, and picturesque landscapes.

Starz’s ‘Magic City’ To End Run After Two Seasons; Series Finale Airs Friday

EXCLUSIVE: It is the end of the road for Starz‘s Magic City. The pay cable network has opted not to order a third season of the period drama, with the Season 2 finale on Friday serving as a series finale. Magic City, which chronicled the collision of mobsters, politicians and entertainers at a posh Miami hotel in 1959, just as Fidel Castro took control of Cuba, was created by Mitch Glazer based his own recollection of growing up in Miami. “We are tremendously proud of the series and everyone involved,” Starz said in a statement. “From the writers, to the cast and crew, it has been an incredible collaboration. This was a story born from Mitch Glazer’s singular vision of Miami, the Magic City of his childhood, and we are grateful to him for bringing it to life on Starz. The season’s story arc will allow us to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the series, and we thank all the fans who checked in to the Miramar Playa.” At TCA last month, Starz CEO Chris Albrecht teased that the last few episodes of the show contain a lot of surprises that will answer questions. Like with all of its shows, Starz ordered Magic City straight to series. Showing faith in the the Jeffrey Dean Morgan-toplined period drama, the pay cable network ordered a second season before the series premiere. Starz has been patient with most of its series, providing creators with two-season arcs to realize their vision. But, despite a significant marketing campaign and buzzy guest castings — including a James Caan arc in Season 2 — Magic City received little critical attention and did not grow its audience in the second season, something networks want to see, especially on a pricey show like Magic City, which Starz also produces. Additionally, Magic City, and to some extent, Boss, another Starz drama cancelled after two seasons, were ordered early in Starz’s original programming evolution as the network has gradually moved to more noisy fare, including new series Black Sails, Outlander, Power and Fortitude, slated to premiere in 2014 when Da Vinci’s Demons is slated to return for a second season as Starz is gearing up for 50 hours of original programming next year, the most in the network’s history. Coming up this Saturday is the premiere of the Starz limited series The White Queen.

Reviews for "Magic Coty as Art: The Intersection of Perfumery and Aesthetics"

1. John - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed after visiting Magic City. The performances were lackluster and the magicians seemed disinterested. The props used were outdated and the overall atmosphere was dull. I expected to be awed and amazed, but instead, I left feeling bored and unimpressed. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money on this show.
2. Sarah - 1/5 stars - Magic City was a complete letdown. The illusions performed were predictable and unimpressive. The show lacked any originality and creativity. The venue itself was poorly managed, with uncomfortable seating and a lack of proper ventilation. It's safe to say I won't be returning to Magic City in the future.
3. David - 2/5 stars - I didn't enjoy my experience at Magic City. The ticket prices were exorbitant considering the quality of the show. The acts seemed rushed and not well-rehearsed. The tricks were too simplistic and failed to leave any sense of wonder or amazement. I expected so much more from a magic show, but Magic City left me disappointed and underwhelmed.
4. Emily - 2/5 stars - Magic City fell short of my expectations. The performers lacked charisma and their delivery felt flat. The show overall lacked excitement and failed to engage the audience. The tricks performed were nothing we haven't seen before, making the whole experience quite underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend attending Magic City if you're looking for a truly magical and enchanting experience.
