I have just ordered this from Vanishing Inc, never shopped with them before so hoping my experience will be OK, good price and No shipping fee, I do how ever expect a long wait here in the UK and with it being nearly Christmas probably longer, at £30.60p I can wait, can't believe that price. its a NEW VERSION, No small book Match by the looks of it, using a larger Match box, I will be making up a Book Match Prop if I can?.

OH WOW, Top Service I asked for Download instructions, sent straight to me, yes pretty much same concept as MINIPRO and was out before, just like the Match Book effect TWO Awesome effects to perform.

This is exactly the sort of trick I like to perform, but I have no idea where to buy the matching (see what I did there) match books in Australia. A quick search on Amazon and eBay didn't help.

They mention the international version for match boxes, but again not sure how easy this is to integrate with matches that look local.

Shane, as you have the instructions, can you comment on the box version? Is it as good and easy enough to look innocent?

Hi Dan, I personally don't think much of the Matchbox Effect, however its a little bit of Arts and Craft, not to difficult. Regarding the Match Books I am going to use one of the cards, make it up and stick some flat matches in it to look just like one. So if I buy some packets and they are to big then I can use the Match's. I aim to present it in a different way and not doing the lit match and disappearance, Oh there will be FIRE but I will obviously have to perform it out side as most venues won't allow Flash Paper. Can't wait to get the Cards in my hands.Hope this helps.
All the Best Dan

I wish I had more chances to perform Lit but the few times I have, I always done Brent Braun's Incinerate as a lead-in to Lit. I mean you burn the White Matchbook , restore it and then morph it into a selected card. It's kinda perfect. IMHO, YMMV.

I like that ,thank you for Sharing Kallix Posted: Dec 4, 2023 01:26 am

Thanks Shane, appreciate your help. I think I'm only interested if I can find the matchbooks somewhere.

Wow Kalix, that looks fantastic. Gotta love Brent Braun - his Torched and Restored would also compliment this I think - it's already the only T&R I do.

Dear Dan, is this what you are looking for?

I pulled the trigger and pre-ordered this from Nicholas’ website.

It looks so good and extremely fooling considering Nicholas confirmed it’s not using black art, which was my only possible solution. I really love that the card can appear and vanish. I see a lot of different routines I can do with this. It's a great visual and I can't wait to get it and will post a review once I start performing it.

Posted: Nov 23, 2023 04:12 am Hmm. Well I’m stumped. Ordered. Posted: Nov 23, 2023 05:09 am

Nicholas Lawrence has created some truly great and incredibly inventive magic over the years. I just may gamble on this.

Here’s the claim:

WHY BANGARANG IS SO AWESOME..

• Multiple Vanish and Appearance variations taught.

• The jokers and the deck are 100% EXAMINABLE.

• The effect can be easily REPEATED.

• Resets in 0-10 seconds.

• Perform in the hands or using a table.

• It’s great for CLOSE UP, walk around and social media.

• The method is very clever, RELIABLE and ridiculously FUN to practice and perform!!

• The gimmick is UNDETECTABLE even when viewed inches away.

• Bonus effects and MULTIPLE HANDLINGS taught.

• No Black Art, Magnets, Elastics

Posted: Nov 23, 2023 05:36 am Wow, that looks good! Posted: Nov 23, 2023 07:50 am

This reminds me of the gimmick that German magician Christian Knudsen uses in his "Tablehoppers Holy P.O.D." routine.

Even after repeat viewing, I remain pleasantly baffled.

Posted: Nov 24, 2023 07:14 am Looks like hole sensation by JB magic to me. Posted: Nov 24, 2023 10:49 am

Hey everyone! Nicholas here, I’m happy to hear that a lot of you are enjoying the visual and my approach to the plot. As most of you know, I’m not the first or the last to create a sandwich effect with holes, This is simply my take. As some of you have mentioned Holy P.O.D & Hole Sensation. If you take a closer look you can see Bangarang is different and has its advantages. The same goes for the many other similar effects released in the past, which of course have all been credited. The trailer for the official release is coming soon, if you enjoy the look of the effect I’d greatly appreciate your pre-order. Thank you for taking an early look at Bangarang!

Hi Nicholas. How practical for walk around. Is it easy to carry around ready to go or does it need to be an opener. How easy to fix when the gaff or the cards wear out ? Thanks

Hey Dave, It’s surprisingly very practical for walk around, easy to carry around in your pocket stored inside the included envelope. It can be performed at any point in your set whenever and wherever. It’s also completely silent (no clicks or slapping sounds) As for durability, After months of use or when it does need repair it is easily/quickly fixed at home with no gaff building experience required. Hope that helps!

Well your stuff is always crazy clever. Not always practical for the type of magic I do but I’ll trust you on this one. I just ordered

I appreciate that, thanks Dave. I also totally understand your concern, Bangarang will definitely be a fun one to add to your repertoire! Enjoy

Posted: Nov 24, 2023 11:46 pm I ordered as well. Looking forward to it. Eric

Nicholas, I am really excited to get this. How much practice do you think this takes to perform it well?

I’m excited to get this in your hands soon! As far as practice and performing it well.. The effect is easy to learn and the gimmick legitimately does most of the work. The most important thing is just performing it smoothly to get the most impact, which I’d say after a few days anyone can master it!

I love the enthusiasm, I wish I could! But unfortunately I cannot, as you seen it’s listed in the ad copy to ship on the 15th and not any sooner. The good news, I’ll be emailing the tutorial to those who have pre-ordered, so you can learn the secret ASAP. The first batch is currently on its way to my distributor and we can’t get them out any sooner! I truly appreciate your patience, support and interest in my magic, Thank you!

Posted: Nov 29, 2023 06:53 am WOW !I am Fooled Badly ! Posted: Dec 1, 2023 07:56 am

Thanks Nicholas for all the information. I'm really excited to get this and I also am extremely fooled by this.

Posted: Dec 1, 2023 12:06 pm It does look very good, but yikes - the cheapest shipping option for me is $30.

I just purchased Trick Tac at Penguin Magic It’s Really Good ! Price 2.95 download it’s going right
Into my walk around set . So visual & the coin can be signed ! Without giving anything away I will say
One thing : Who knew it would lock very clever aparently the creator new . I have no connection with
The magician who thought of this & no financial gain . I am just
Posting about this bescause it’s a winner for sure !!

There are 3 tricks on Penguin named Trick Tac. I assume you're talking about this one:

Thanks. Worth a punt at that price. I'll post back here in a couple of days when I've watched it. Posted: Jan 13, 2024 01:13 am

I trust Tophatter based on his posts through the years so I picked it up. It really is as good as he’s saying! It’s underpriced I think. I especially appreciate audio convincers of solid going through solid.

Yes, copy/paste can be rather difficult.

If you use a half dollar the coin sits nicely in the box . I rub
My hand across the front of the box after the coin is inside
The box as I close the gimmick from the back of the box !
I agree this should have been a much higher price
For the thinking behind it .

Posted: Jan 13, 2024 03:24 am

For 3$ this is WELL worth the purchase. The video tells you what you need to know, goes over a few scenarios, goes over convincers, it's pretty well thought out.

I don't really have any complaints. There a few effects that are more finnicky than others, and the part where he goes over how to hand out the container has much better ways to do so, but his method isn't bad. All around I'm very happy.

If you do social media magic, I feel like this is a must buy. If you do any other kind of magic, buy it anyway, for 3$ just do it.

Reviews for "Discover the Magic Cafe's Latest Magic Books for Beginners"

1. Derek - 1 star - I had high hopes for Magic cafe latest and greatest, but I was sorely disappointed. The tricks were old and not at all impressive. I felt like I had seen them all before, and there was nothing new or innovative about them. The performers were also lacking in skills and stage presence. Overall, it was a boring and lackluster experience. Save your money and look for better magic shows elsewhere.
2. Jennifer - 2 stars - I found Magic cafe latest and greatest to be quite underwhelming. The tricks were predictable and the acts lacked excitement. It felt like they were just going through the motions, without any real passion or enthusiasm. The venue itself was also lacking in ambiance, and the overall production value was subpar. It simply didn't live up to the hype and left me wanting more.
3. Brian - 2 stars - I was not impressed with Magic cafe latest and greatest. The show lacked originality and creativity. It seemed like they were just going through the motions, without surprising or wowing the audience. The performers also lacked charisma and stage presence, making the whole experience dull and forgettable. Overall, I was disappointed with the show and would not recommend it to others who are looking for a truly magical experience.
4. Emily - 1 star - Magic cafe latest and greatest was a major letdown. The tricks were amateurish and poorly executed. It felt like a cheap magic show that you would find at a children's birthday party. The performers seemed unenthusiastic and unskilled, and the whole show lacked any sort of wow factor. I would not waste my time or money on this show again. There are so many better magic performances out there worth watching.
5. Michael - 2 stars - Unfortunately, Magic cafe latest and greatest did not live up to its name. The tricks were lackluster and I found myself easily figuring out how they were done. The performers didn't bring any excitement or energy to the stage, making the show seem dull and uninteresting. I was hoping for more impressive and mind-boggling tricks, but was left disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone looking for a thrilling and magical experience.
