The benefits of using a magic bag large for emergency preparedness

By admin

A magic bag large is a mystical and enchanting accessory that possesses incredible powers and abilities. It is a bag of significant size capable of containing a wide range of objects, both big and small, without compromising its own weight or size. This magical bag defies the limitations of physics, providing its owner with endless possibilities and convenience. The magic bag large is known for its ability to store an immense quantity of items within its confines. Regardless of the size or weight of the objects being placed inside, the bag can accommodate them effortlessly. Thus, it is especially useful for travelers, adventurers, or anyone who needs to carry multiple objects but wants to avoid the burden and inconvenience of heavy luggage.

It colour fastens the fabric dyes leaving less chance for your colours to bleed.

I got reacquainted with the technique and took my best shot at technical writing for the instructions which made me all the more appreciative of good pattern designers. Starch is typically used after washing and drying your fabric although some quilters use spray starch without pre-washing to get it nice and flat and stiff.

Thus, it is especially useful for travelers, adventurers, or anyone who needs to carry multiple objects but wants to avoid the burden and inconvenience of heavy luggage. Apart from its generous capacity, the magic bag large possesses the remarkable power of organization. It has the ability to neatly categorize and separate different items placed inside, making it easy to retrieve specific objects when needed.

Piece, Love & Happiness!

This past week, I started and finished a fun new Wholecloth Quilt that yielded 36 fun, new free-motion quilting motifs. Not only am I thrilled with the fabulous quilted textures, but stitching the motifs was surprisingly simple and easy to complete without the use of any marking pens or even my trusted blue painter's tape!

Yes--you read that correctly--zero marking was required for any of these designs!! Keep reading to learn my magical secret.

Free Motion Magic Without Any Marking!! (Finishes 28" x 28")

I simply turned to my fabric stash for quilting inspiration! For this particular stitch sampler, I looked for prints/batiks with circular designs that reminded me of pebble quilting and variations. Once I started looking through my stash, I was surprised by the range of design possibilities! The quilt back was a simple 6x6 grid pieced using 5" charm squares representing a variety of patterns, scales and combinations!
Magic Trick Revealed--Fun Quilt Back with Lots of Pattern!

White (#2024) Aurifil 50 weight was used for all the piecing, quilting and top-stitched binding. The quilt sandwich was turned over so the pieced backing was facing up. Once all the stitching in the ditch was completed, I moved from block to block, drawing inspiration from the backing fabrics for my quilting. As I approached each new block, I looked for ways to capture and/or enhance the circular designs. Some designs required only outline stitching, while others involved more intricate pathway planning!

Here are some more quilting tips:

  • Quilting with a thin thread such as Aurifil 50 Weight on a busy printed fabric, greatly helps to disguise any stitching imperfections! Any stitching wobbles will be better disguised if you use a matching color that blends in with the print!
  • It is ok (and encouraged) to take some creative liberties by deviating from the fabric patterns. I may have skipped stitching some of the smaller circles on a block and/or grouped several circle motifs into a larger circle/bubble! Or perhaps add some stitched lines/meandering to connect the various circle shapes without needing to break thread.
  • Be mindful of the scale of prints and how that might translate to the amount of quilting involved! Using a small scale print might be fine for a small wall or crib sized quilt, but might be extremely time and thread consuming if used on a larger quilt!!
  • There are quite a few prints that would lend themselves nicely to walking foot quilting too, just as I did on my Sprint then Crawl For Color quilt!
  • Have fun.

Modern Kawandi Making

Kawandi quilts have been on my mind ever since seeing the Collecting & Recollecting exhibit on display at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum . Kawandi Quilts on Display at IQSCM This was not my first introduction to Kawandi style quilts. Several years ago, Margaret Fabrizio had a solo exhibit and presentation at the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles. Margaret traveled to India to learn how to make this style of quilt from the African-Indian Siddis quiltmakers, and has since made quite a few Kawandi quilts of her own which she has posted on her website gallery. More recently, Sujata Shah had several Kawandi style quilts as part of her Featured Artist display and presentation at the Pajaro Valley Quilt Show . She is scheduled to teach a Kawandi workshop this summer on a 2019 The Exotics in ALASKA Cruise (which unfortunately conflicts with my own teaching calendar). Despite several looming deadlines, I kept thinking back on these Kawandi quilts

CYMK Interleave

My Intriguing Interleaves quilting workshop has received a number of teaching invitations which is exciting. In preparation, I've shipped out four of my Interleave quilt samples to help promote workshop sign ups. So it is time to whip up a brand new Intriguing Interleave quilt!! For this quilt, I chose high contrast in CYMK colors: Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and 3 different values of Black. All the colors are a tone on tone grid/cross hatch patterned print, whereas the black and white prints are all small dots. CYMK Fabrics and Pattern I always have to remind quilters in my workshops that the hardest part of these quilts is usually waiting for the design to emerge. With these high contrast colors/prints, the design really pops!! As I was adding my black and white strip binding, I noticed that the orientation of the quilt really led my eyes to recognize different patterns and shapes. Hmmmm. do I prefer the horizontal or vertical orientation? Which Orientation Do

Falling In Love with Interleave Quilts

I was honored to be asked to lead a Quilting 101 demonstration open to our guild members. There were a few options for techniques and topics, but in the end we went with Interleave quilts. Once the topic was finalized, I got to work preparing for the big day: supply lists, class samples, instructional hand outs, templates, mini practice kits and more. I got reacquainted with the technique and took my best shot at technical writing for the instructions (which made me all the more appreciative of good pattern designers!!) Demo Preparations My excitement grew as I learned 25 members reserved their spot on the first day of sign ups! And it was just a matter of time before all 36 spots were filled and the wait list grew to 15+!! Whoa! Others were very interested in unlocking the mystery behind Interleave quilts that give the illusion of transparency and curves, without any curved piecing involved! I brought one of my practice pieces to work on at my small quilt group

1. Jane - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Magic Bag Large. The material feels cheap and flimsy, and it doesn't hold its shape well. The straps are also uncomfortable and dig into my shoulders when I wear it. Overall, I expected better quality for the price, and I wouldn't recommend this bag.
2. Mark - 1 star - The Magic Bag Large was a complete waste of money. The zipper broke after just a few uses, and the stitching started unraveling within a week. It is poorly made and not durable at all. Save your money and invest in a better quality bag.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Magic Bag Large, but it just didn't meet my expectations. The compartments are not well-designed, making it difficult to organize my belongings. The bag also feels much heavier than it should, even when empty. I ended up returning it because it was just not practical or functional for my needs.
4. Robert - 1 star - I regret purchasing the Magic Bag Large. The zippers are constantly getting stuck, and the bag is not spacious enough to fit all my essential items. The interior lining also tore easily, and overall, the bag felt cheaply made. I would not recommend this bag to anyone looking for a reliable and durable option.
