You can use NFC (Near Field Communication) to transmit data from an NFC -enabled smartphone to your Smart TV.
When you tap an NFC -enabled smartphone against the Tag On sticker, the phone immediately establishes a connection to your Smart TV. To connect via NFC , the smartphone and Smart TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network or Miracast™/Intel® WiDi must be set to On on your Smart TV.

To connect your smartphone to your Smart TV via NFC , you must install the Tag On app on your smartphone and complete the following authentication process:
- Connect your Smart TV and smartphone to the same network.
- If you cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network, select Smart Home ( ) > Settings > .
- Select Miracast™/Intel® WiDi , and then set it to On .
- Enable NFC and Use Read and Write/P2P receive mode on your smartphone.
- For detailed information on how to enable NFC and its mode settings, refer to the user's manual for your smartphone.
- Tap the smartphone against the Tag On sticker.
- Follow the instructions on the smartphone to install the Tag On and LG TV Remote apps.
- Tap the smartphone against the Tag On sticker again.
- On the smartphone, type the authentication number that appears on your Smart TV.
- If the smartphone detects multiple Smart TVs, select the Smart TV to which you want to connect.
- After establishing a connection, you can use Tag On to transfer data to your Smart TV.
- The Tag On sticker records information about the first Smart TV connected via NFC . You can initialize the recorded data through the Tag On app settings on the smartphone.
