Why Every Beauty Junkie Needs Loreal Magic Glow Primer in Their Makeup Bag

By admin

The Loreal Magic Glow Primer is a popular beauty product that aims to give your skin a radiant and glowing finish. This primer is designed to be used before applying foundation or as a standalone product for a natural, dewy look. The main idea of the Loreal Magic Glow Primer is to enhance your skin's natural luminosity and create a more youthful and radiant appearance. It is formulated with light-reflecting particles that help to blur imperfections and give the skin a soft-focus effect. This primer also contains hydrating ingredients that help to plump and smooth the skin, creating a more even surface for makeup application. One of the key features of the Loreal Magic Glow Primer is its versatility.

After completing the final step in your skin care routine, apply your primer dot by dot onto your skin. Blend in a gentle, circular motion using your fingers or brush over your entire face or to targeted areas. You can wear the primer alone or under foundation for a smoother, more even application and to prolong your foundation’s wear time.

But with the amount of primers on the market, you may not know where to start, or if you should be using different types of primers for the different areas of your face. And while your concealer or face primer can double up as your eye primer, reach for a dedicated eye primer for the best chance of making your eye look last all day.

One of the key features of the Loreal Magic Glow Primer is its versatility. It can be used as a traditional primer, applied before foundation to create a smooth canvas for makeup. Alternatively, it can be used on its own to give the skin a subtle glow and even out the complexion.

L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer fails to make an impression

I am not a fan of over-mattifying primers (like L’oreal’s magic perfecting base) because of my dry skin but since the new L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer ($12.95) claims to add luminosity while acting as a makeup base, I have to admit I was intrigued. And then I got a sample of this new primer in Allure magazine along with a $2 off coupon so I was excited to test it out.

From L’Oreal

“Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer is a unique liquid light formula that blends seamlessly into skin to boost its liveliness and luminosity. Texture is smoothed and toned for a natural looking complexion. Use it alone for a supply, dewy look or mix in with foundation for an all over radiant finish or dab it on key areas as a highlighter.”

L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer has a very lightweight formula with a thin liquid consistency and absorbs quickly creating a smooth canvas for makeup application. I like that it doesn’t mattify my skin making it look dull, however it does not soften the appearance of my pores. As the directions suggest, I tried using it on my bare skin (without a moisturizer) first to get a glowy-dewy effect . It does give my skin a slight sheen/dewy look, but if applied over a moisturizer (that is a must-have for me) I couldn’t tell any difference. When I used the primer mixed in with my foundation, it helped my makeup last a little longer but didn’t give me a luminous or glowy finish.

Overall, L’Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer didn’t really work out that well for me. It’s just an Ok product that doesn’t stand out from the rest. If I am going to spend $13 on this primer, I expect better results in terms of adding a healthy glow to my skin.

Reviews for "How to Achieve a Luminous Glow with Loreal Magic Glow Primer"

- Sara - 2 out of 5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Loreal magic glow primer. It claims to provide a magical glow, but I found it to be more like a shiny, greasy mess on my face. It didn't blend well with my foundation and made it look cakey. I also found that it didn't do much to extend the wear of my makeup. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this primer if you're looking for a natural, glowy finish.
- John - 1 out of 5 stars - I don't understand the hype around the Loreal magic glow primer. It did absolutely nothing for my skin. It didn't blur my pores or add any glow. It just felt like I was putting an extra layer of unnecessary product on my face. I also found that it made my skin feel tacky and didn't help my makeup last any longer. Save your money and skip this one.
- Emily - 2 out of 5 stars - I had high hopes for the Loreal magic glow primer, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The texture was strange and almost gritty, and it didn't blend smoothly onto my skin. The supposed glow it promised was more like a glittery finish, which I didn't like at all. It made my makeup look unnatural and emphasized my skin texture. I would not repurchase or recommend this primer to others.
- Michael - 3 out of 5 stars - I had mixed feelings about the Loreal magic glow primer. While it did provide a subtle glow to my skin, I found that it didn't do much to improve the longevity of my makeup. It also didn't fully blur my pores or smooth out my skin texture. I think there are better primers out there for achieving a natural glow and helping makeup last longer. It might work for some people, but it wasn't a game-changer for me.
