Varieties — The Complete List

To show the incredible diversity within crape myrtles, this photograph was taken in a crape myrtle nursery in Celina, Texas, on June 30, while they were in peak bloom of summer. The flower clusters at the top were from varieties growing to mature heights of less than 5 ft., while flowers at the bottom of the photo were from varieties that will grow to be 20 ft. tall and taller.

No one will probably ever have a complete list of all the crape myrtle varieties. There are many cultivars/varieties that are identical to others with different names. Only gene testing could tell us the real facts. In other cases, there are variety names in historic nursery catalogs from decades past, but those varieties are apparently nowhere to be found in the nursery trade today.

Since the Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney foundation formed in the late 1990s, we have contacted more than 100 wholesale growers and all major botanic gardens and research institutions where work has been conducted with crape myrtles, and this is a very good beginning of a list. New varieties are being introduced each year and the list is growing rapidly. We will try our best to keep it updated.

Reviews for "Is Kiels Magic Elixirr Worth the Hype? A Detailed Review and Analysis"

1. Rebecca - 2 stars - I didn't see any magical results with Kiels magic elixirr. I was quite disappointed with this product as it claimed to have numerous benefits for the skin but didn't deliver. It had a strange smell and left my skin feeling sticky and greasy. Definitely won't be repurchasing.
2. John - 1 star - Kiels magic elixirr was a complete waste of money for me. I have sensitive skin and this product caused me to break out in a horrible rash. I followed the instructions carefully and even did a patch test beforehand, but it still caused an adverse reaction. It's packed with unnecessary fragrances and chemicals that could be potentially irritating to some individuals. Stay away from this product if you have sensitive skin.
3. Emma - 2 stars - I had high expectations for Kiels magic elixirr but it fell short. It claims to provide hydration and improve the overall look of the skin, but I found it to be quite drying. It didn't absorb well into my skin and left a sticky residue. Additionally, the scent was overpowering and lingered for hours. I wouldn't recommend this product if you're looking for a moisturizing and non-irritating elixir for your skin.
