Colorado native that left the heart of the Rockies to pursue an acting career and study Shakespeare in Cedar City, Utah. It was there that Lucas realized his interest in comedy, directing, and improv. Spending 4 years rounding out his education he decided to take a break and move home for a bit where he got a job at a local news station. Being exposed to cameras and editing sparked his interest in creating his first short film Yard Sale which he grabbed a few friends, a camera, and filmed in his back yard.
A few years later the academic pursuits resumed at WSU in Ogden UT. There he finished his Acting/Directing degree, creating several spoof films for the theater department.

A year after graduating, Lucas led his team to victory in his second 24 hour film festival with Sociable + Polite. This lead to several more short films including Zombo, A Documented Incident (Winner best Mocumentary Salty Horror Film Festival) and Whip Brawler (Official Selection - Salt Lake Comedy Film Fest, Salt Lake Comic Con Film Festival 2014) His most recent fan film was recognized as a finalist at the Star Wars Fan Film competition in 3 categories.

After 3 feature films, Lucas set out with Jake Harenberg to write, direct, and star in Curse of the Werehuahua, his first time leading the helm and acting in one of his films in a substantial role.

Lucas currently resides in Salt Lake City.

Director Statement

"Curse" started out when a friend asked for some film ideas. " I want to make a cheesy creature horror film." he said. I shot back an idea about a guy who gets bitten by a cursed chihuahua and becomes a chiwerewolf. My friend replied. fun

No punctuation, no period, no question mark! "Fun, you!" I thought. This is a good idea! Sprinkle in some villainous cosplayers and we have ourselves a third act and boom - Film idea!

We geared up for production, the mask and creature FX were sorted out and paid for, we cast, we crewed, and 2 days before production. Covid. Thanks, March 2020. Fun you, too!

Disheartened and unsettled, we broke the news to the cast and crew and we all shelved the project, indefinitely. But fast forward to October 2020 and we were infected. with the virus. of film-making again! We worked on weekends, were cautious, masked up and such and wouldn't you know it, nobody was infected for a month and a half. We finished production unscathed. A week later, I got the virus and spent thanksgiving by my lonesome.

We are so proud to bring this production together for everyone. This cheesy horror comedy has splashes of "Dude, Where's my Car?" "Young Frankenstein," and Monty Python too.

Werehuahua will fit with most comedy festivals and will be a great ice breaker for anyone wanting to showcase some serious shit after our show.

Review: I was extremely disappointed with the Jay Leno comedy show at the Magic Club. I found his jokes to be outdated and not at all funny. It felt like he was recycling material from the 90s. I was hoping for some fresh and original content, but instead, I got the same old tired jokes. The venue itself was also quite cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, I did not enjoy the experience and would not recommend it to others.

Review: The Jay Leno comedy show at the Magic Club was just okay for me. I had higher expectations considering his reputation, but his set fell flat. The jokes lacked originality and seemed more like recycled material. Additionally, the venue was poorly lit and the sound system was not great, making it difficult to fully enjoy the show. While I appreciate the opportunity to see an iconic comedian like Jay Leno live, I wouldn't go out of my way to see him again in the future.

Review: I have to say I was quite disappointed with Jay Leno's performance at the Magic Club. Some of his jokes were borderline offensive and crossed the line. It felt like he was trying too hard to be edgy, but it just ended up being tasteless. The atmosphere in the club was also lackluster, with the audience not fully engaged or laughing along. Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience for me and I would not attend another show featuring Jay Leno.

Review: The Jay Leno comedy show at the Magic Club was a complete waste of time and money. I found his jokes to be predictable and lacking in creativity. It felt like he was just going through the motions without putting much effort into his performance. The venue itself was crowded and uncomfortable, with poor seating arrangements. I was highly disappointed and would not recommend this show to anyone looking for a good laugh.
