Discover the beauty of intertwined crochet with a witch hat project

By admin

The intertwined crochet witch hat is a unique and stylish accessory that combines the traditional witch hat design with a modern twist. It is a popular choice among crochet enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals looking to express their individuality. What sets the intertwined crochet witch hat apart is its intricate and eye-catching design. Unlike a regular crochet hat, this hat features a woven-like pattern that gives it a more textured and visually appealing look. The intertwining patterns resemble spider webs, further adding to its witchy charm. These hats are typically handcrafted using crochet hooks and yarn of various colors and thicknesses.

Crochet Witch Hat Square

How iconic is a witch's hat at this time of year? I've been "busy" lining up a movie marathon selection that includes The Witches, Hocus Pocus 1 and 2, and maybe a Disney short thrown in there like Trick or Treat. I really enjoyed making this witch hat C2C crochet pattern and love how it turned out!

C2C Crochet Pattern

Each square was made using the corner to corner (C2C) crochet technique. In this technique, you're crocheting in a diagonal direction - from corner to corner - and using double crochet stitches throughout. It's really fun and a bit addictive when you get the hang of it!

I used worsted weight (4) acrylic yarn and a size 4.00mm/G-6 hook to crochet this witch hat C2C crochet square but you can try making it with finer or thicker yarn for a smaller or bigger size square. Just be sure to use the appropriate size hook as well.

The finished size for each of my squares turned out to be 17.5” wide x 15.5” tall.

There are a few things you could do with these squares. Here are a few ideas:

  • Join them to make a lap blanket
  • Hang them as wall art
  • Join 2 squares to make a pillow cover
  • Use a finer yarn and smaller hook to make placemats or mug rugs

It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Pair it with a witch-inspired costume for a Halloween party or wear it with a casual outfit for a funky and fashion-forward look. Reviews for "Stay warm and stylish with a cozy intertwined crochet witch hat"

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Intertwined crochet witch hat. The quality of the crochet work was poor, with loose threads and holes throughout. The fit was also awkward, it didn't sit well on my head and the brim was too floppy. Overall, it looked cheap and badly made. I ended up returning it because I couldn't see myself wearing it.
2. Mike - 1 star - I would not recommend the Intertwined crochet witch hat. The design is interesting, but the execution is lacking. The stitches were uneven, making the hat look messy. It also didn't hold its shape well, so I had to constantly adjust it while wearing. The material used was scratchy and uncomfortable. I regretted purchasing this hat and wish I had gone with a different option.
3. Emily - 2 stars - I bought the Intertwined crochet witch hat with high hopes, but it didn't meet my expectations. The color of the hat was different from what was shown in the pictures. It looked more vibrant online, but in reality, it was dull and washed out. The brim was also too wide for my liking, and it seemed to overpower my face. I do appreciate the effort put into the design, but the execution fell short for me.
4. John - 2 stars - The Intertwined crochet witch hat didn't fit me well at all. It was too small despite following the size chart provided. Additionally, the hat felt flimsy and didn't keep its shape. The brim curled up awkwardly, which made it look unappealing. I was disappointed with the overall quality and construction of the hat. It just didn't live up to my expectations.
5. Laura - 1 star - The Intertwined crochet witch hat was a complete waste of money. The crochet work was sloppy and uneven, with noticeable inconsistencies throughout. The hat also arrived with a strange odor, which made it unwearable. I tried airing it out, but the smell persisted. I wouldn't recommend this hat to anyone looking for a well-made and pleasant-smelling accessory.
