AC Odyssey: Stink Eye Trophy Assassin's Creed Odyssey Guide and Walkthrough

On this page we have provided a walkthrough for achieving the Stink Eye trophy in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. This achievement is awarded for recovering the Eye of the Cyclops from a goat in Kephallonia. Obtaining this trophy may be problematic because finding the goat won't be easy. All steps are described in detail below.

You can't get this trophy right from the start of the game. You need to complete some initial main quests in Kephallonia, namely unlock The Big Break main quest.

As you complete The Big Break quest, the main character will have a confrontation with Cyclops. Even before this happens, your character will place Eye of the Cyclops in a casual goat during a funny cut-scene.

Finding a goat with the Eye of the Cyclops can be dealt once you have defeated Cyclops and his people. The goat appears in random places in southern Kephallonia. You can increase your chances of finding it by visiting Shepherd's Hill from the picture above. It is adjacent to the village where you fought with the Cyclops - the location of this place is shown in the pictures attached. On this hill you should come across a lot of goats and you can start to kill them and check each of them.

Note - Don't worry if you have left Kephallonia in the meantime. You can return to the starting game location and you will still be able to find a goat with the Eye of Cyclops.

Use your bow and kill more goats. One goat should drop Obsidian Eye Fragment and Obsidian Eye. You will get an achievement.

Note - If you haven't found a goat with the Eye of the Cyclops on the hill we've indicated, you can move away from this location and return to it or explore other areas in southern Kephallonia (e.g. cliffs at the southern end of the island).

Important Note: The obsidian eye is a very valuable gem that you can sell to any blacksmith. It will be for sale together with other useless Trade Goods. For the jewel you will receive 2750 gold from the blacksmith!

In truth, Kassandra had pocketed the eye upon seeing it and realizing its actual value. Before leaving Kephallonia, she entrusted it to her friend, the orphan Phoibe, insisting that she keep it a secret from Markos, to only sell it if she got into trouble, and to spend the drachmae wisely. [3] A year later, however, Markos had learned that Phioibe owned the eye. He convinced her to give it to him to invest, hoping to double its value, but the money he gained from it he promptly lost in another far-fetched endeavor. [5]
Curse of the obsidian eye

Possessors of the Obsidian Eye often report a growing sense of unease and paranoia, as if being constantly watched. People claim to have seen unexplainable shadows flickering in the corner of their vision, while others detailed hearing whispers that seemed to emanate from the stone itself. The most disturbing aspect of the curse is the misfortune that befalls its victims. Stories depict accidents, financial ruin, and a trail of broken relationships trailing in the wake of the Obsidian Eye. Some even claim that death befell those who refused to part ways with the cursed artifact, only lifting their fate from this world. Intriguingly, the only way to break the Curse of the Obsidian Eye, as passed down through generations, involves a dangerous and arduous journey. It is believed that the cursed stone must be returned to the ancient civilization from which it was believed to originate. Those who have attempted this have faced treacherous terrain, insurmountable obstacles, and various supernatural beings standing guard over the cursed land. Though the legend of the Curse of the Obsidian Eye has captured the imagination of many, it is essential to approach such tales with skepticism. There is no concrete evidence supporting the existence of this curse or the artifact itself. Nevertheless, its enduring presence in myth and folklore serves as a cautionary reminder to be wary of the allure of unchecked power and the potential consequences that may follow..
