CEO / Chief Creative Officer

The owner, CEO and founder of Corporate Magic, Jim Kirk has been a pioneer in event production since 1974 and continues to perform at the top of the industry by leading a professional team of event producers and directors. Always staying closely involved in the process, Jim offers his expertise to every company that turns to Corporate Magic for event strategy and production. His innovative, message-based approach to the production industry has helped him sustain success over decades of creating award-winning work.

From a successful radio jingle-writing career in the 1970s to 1980s –which saw him hit the Billboard Hot 100 and the American Top 40 –to the awe-inspiring, 80,000-person Boy Scouts 100th Jamboree, Jim has monumental achievements in many aspects of the entertainment and event production industries.

Today, Corporate Magic employs top-flight professionals who collaborate with Jim and uphold his high standards of quality to engage the hearts and minds of audiences.

Stephen Dahlem

Senior Creative Director

A highly accomplished director and musician, Stephen is a leader in the industry, working together with James Kirk creating amazing moments for events of all kinds.

His award-winning career began with the Walt Disney Company performing in then staging live shows and television specials. On Broadway, he appeared in numerous productions, then became Senior Creative Director at Six Flags Corporation, where he created and produced themed entertainment for 36 theme parks worldwide, winning the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, Golden Ticket, and Brass Ring awards.

As a member of the Corporate Magic team, Steve brings his peerless knowledge of live performance and design to corporate events everywhere.

Meg Lohr

Vice President of Business Development

Meg Lohr serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Corporate Magic. With over twenty years in event management, she has worked with clients such as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, JCPenney, and Procter & Gamble. Meg’s experience spans live broadcasts, corporate meetings, and large-scale events, focusing on non-profit organizations. As a proactive business development leader, Meg fosters lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their visions are executed flawlessly. Her dedication to creating exceptional experiences makes her an invaluable asset to Corporate Magic and a trusted partner in the event management industry.

Troy Myatt

Troy boasts an extensive career of over 30 years, showcasing his award-winning creative skills on both the client and agency sides. He kick-started his career at Zachry Associates and ICSS, kickstarting Apple’s Education Networking designs in Abilene before progressing to esteemed companies such as the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Frontier Texas, and various ad agencies, where he worked on high-profile projects including AT&T, hotels, and museums. As the former Design Director for Authentic Texas Magazine, Troy left his mark on the publication, producing outstanding designs.

Troy’s work has been featured in the New York Times and Times Square. His talent also extends beyond graphic design, with a selection of his photographs being permanently inducted into the Southwest Photography collections at The Wittliff Collections in San Marcos, TX.

At Corporate Magic, Troy is the magic behind our client’s theme, identity design, and digital work. When not working, he is also a private pilot, fisherman, and racing around in his Porsche 944.

Martin Gillespie

Chief Financial Officer

Originally with Gaylord Entertainment, Martin Gillespie became CFO of Corporate Magic in 2001.

Martin’s expertise and oversight extends to financial and accounting operations throughout the company, but his skill set doesn’t end there. He’s an essential part of the events team, handling budgeting for creation and production, client and vendor contracts and legal matters, employee benefit programs, employee retirement programs, and insurance and risk management for events. During the seven years he was employed with Gaylord Entertainment, Martin held many positions, including VP of Finance for their Music, Media and Entertainment Division, as well as Director of Corporate Internal Audit.

As a graduate of the University of Tennessee, a CPA and an accomplished event professional, Martin brings vital skills to the table for Corporate Magic clients.

Jeffrey N. Kirk

Chief Operating Officer

With nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the corporate events industry, Jeff Kirk has developed a reputation as an innovative marketing strategist with a keen understanding of digital content and technology’s role in building brand preferences. He began his career at Corporate Magic In 1995 as the Digital Media Director, managing projects like 3D modeling, webcasts, and video streaming. In 2010, Jeff took over as COO to oversee day-to-day operations.

Jeff’s experience in both the creative and technical aspects of events has helped him develop a deep understanding of what it takes to produce a successful event. His attention to detail and commitment to customer service ensures that every client receives the highest level of support and the best possible event experience.

Jeff’s passion is auto racing, and he holds licenses and pro-level certifications from Porsche and Mercedes AMG and in Formula 3.

Brad Kirk

Brad Kirk, a Creative Director at Corporate Magic, has contributed his musical expertise since 2018. An accomplished pianist, Brad composes scores for various productions, drawing from his experience training under jazz composer John Medeski. Outside work, Brad is a music director at his local church and embraces outdoor adventures. His innovative approach as Creative Director has positively impacted the company. Brad is an avid outdoorsman in his downtime, balancing work, family, and nature by spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.

Brian Greenway

Vice President, Growth & Strategy

Brian is a detail-oriented guy with sharp communication skills, a fun-loving wit and a passion to seek what’s next. He is a primary contact between client executive sponsors and our production and project management teams. Brian takes pride in being available to our clients day and night to collaborate on the execution of all elements of the project. He keeps the larger Corporate Magic team laser-focused on the overall goals and objectives and brings our agency over 25 years of major event experience from national broadcasts, major concerts, sporting events, product launches, brand activations and much more. When he’s not fully engaged on a program, you can find Brian working on the family farm or out in the middle of a lake catching bass.

Steve Evans

With over 30+ years in the entertainment and corporate event industries, ensuring that programs and strategies are effective and that projects stay on time and on budget. Steve’s experience in producing, directing, and managing all aspects of business theatre/meetings, special events, theatre production, and entertainment brings a vast knowledge of what it takes to produce a successful project.

Steve joined Corporate Magic in 1999 after serving as GM with Gaylord Entertainment / Gaylord Productions. Before this, he was the Entertainment Director and Production Manager for Fiesta Texas / Six Flags Theme Park in San Antonio, Managing Producer for Opryland Productions, Opryland Talent Agency, Opryland U.S.A. in Nashville, and the Arnold Agency / New South Production in Atlanta.

A Graduate of Middle Tennessee State University in Mass Communication /TV & Film and Studies in the Master of Business Program at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. Steve brings Corporate Magic a vast array of diverse experience in project management and producing services.

However, the class turned out to be a complete disappointment. The instructor was unprofessional and lacked enthusiasm, making the experience dull and uninspiring. The tricks taught were basic and could easily be found on YouTube tutorials. Definitely not worth the time and money.
2. Mark - 2/5 stars - I signed up for the corporate magic class hoping for a unique team-building experience for my colleagues and me. Unfortunately, the class fell short of expectations. The instructor seemed more interested in showing off his own skills rather than focusing on teaching us practical magic tricks. The class lacked structure and it was difficult to follow along. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience and I would not recommend it for corporate events.
3. Samantha - 2/5 stars - Attending the corporate magic class was a waste of my time. The instructor hardly explained the techniques properly and rushed through the explanations without ensuring everyone understood. The class lacked organization and the atmosphere was not engaging. I left feeling more confused about magic tricks than when I arrived. Additionally, the materials provided were of poor quality. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I regret signing up for the class.
