Carnival Cruise Line announces the highly anticipated theme nights for its Carnival Magic cruise ship in 2022. These exciting and immersive themes promise to take guests on a memorable journey during their cruise vacation. First up is the "80s Night," where guests can channel their inner Madonna or Michael Jackson and rock out to the greatest hits of the decade. From neon colors to big hair and shoulder pads, this nostalgic theme night is sure to transport guests back in time. Next, the "Pirate Night" brings out the swashbuckler in everyone. Guests can dress up in pirate attire, complete with eye patches and swords, and join in on the fun-filled activities, including a pirate-themed deck party and treasure hunt.

I don t need to tell you what to wear for these two decade evenings, since they are so iconic but remember to pack some leg warmers, parachute pants, platform shoes, bell bottoms and of course a leisure suit. The first Cruise Elegant evening is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd day of the cruise; the second Cruise Elegant evening is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd day prior to the end of the cruise, schedules permitting.
Guests can dress up in pirate attire, complete with eye patches and swords, and join in on the fun-filled activities, including a pirate-themed deck party and treasure hunt. For those who love the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, the "Gala Night" is the perfect occasion to shine. Guests can dress to the nines in their finest attire and walk the red carpet like a star.

I expected more from a cruise with such a well-known brand. Overall, the theme nights felt tired and uninspired.
