The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is a beloved fantasy novel by C.S. Lewis. It is the first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series and was originally published in 1950. The story follows four siblings - Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy - who stumble upon a magical wardrobe that transports them to the enchanting world of Narnia. In Narnia, the children discover a land perpetually stuck in winter, ruled by the cruel White Witch.

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I found "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" to be quite overrated. While the concept of a magical wardrobe leading to a mythical world is intriguing, I found the execution lacking. The characters felt one-dimensional, and I struggled to connect with any of them. The plot was also quite predictable, with few surprises along the way. Overall, I was left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed by this classic children's book.
2. John - 2 stars - I couldn't get into "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" at all. The writing style felt outdated and lacked the imaginative flair I was expecting. The story progressed slowly, and the frequent religious undertones were off-putting for me. I also found the world-building to be insufficient, leaving me with many unanswered questions. Perhaps it's simply a matter of personal taste, but I struggled to find any enjoyment or excitement in this book.
3. Emily - 1 star - "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" was a huge disappointment for me. The plot felt disjointed, with events happening without proper explanations or logical connections.
