Sup! I am still confused by Sebastian’s actions in the Green witch arc. Was he ACTUALLY going to eat Ciel’s soul or was it to bring Cile back “on track”?? bBc Sebastian was COLD during that scene, even Finny noticed something wrong with him

Finny realized Sebastian was stronger than him. Way stronger. And Finny apparently didn’t think anyone was. He’s really good (or bad, depending on how you look at it) about either forgetting the odd things Sebastian does (like make iris bulbs grow and bloom in about two hours) or just… deciding to not think about it too much. Finny had gone entirely into protection mode, even against Sebastian, so he was also surprised when Sebastian decided to kick him out of the room.

90% serious about devouring our earl’s soul, because he seemed to be giving up on the contract. 10% trying to get our earl “back on track” to return to their contract.

This seems to be a particularly interesting (entertaining) contract for him, so he’d like to finish it and devour a soul that’s attained this goal of revenge.
