Killer Bunnies is a silly save yourself/ screw your neighbor card game. The goal is to be holding the magic carrot at the end of the game. At the end of the game, 1 random carrot will be determined magic. The more carrots you have at the end, the more likely you are to win. It is as simple as that.

From there, you draw cards that put bunnies in play, which are similar to mana from Magic: The Gathering. In order to play most cards, you must have a bunny out in front of you. Of course, most of the cards that require a bunny are used to kill other players bunnies, leading to a vicious cycle of no one having bunnies, to everyone, and back to no one.

Cards are all unique, and often humorous ways to harming your opponents, either through roasting their bunnies on spits, to chopping them up with swords, to bunny black holes. Most of the time, the opposing player needs to roll 1 die and hope for a high number.

the game uses a unique queuing system where the cards you set down this turn wont be played until 2 turns from now, which is often ill timed. for instance, I have a bunny out, so i play a card face down that will come out in 2 turns, that requires me to have a bunny. well, 1 turn from now, my opponent kills my bunny with a fly swatter. When my turn comes up, I can do nothing with that card that required a bunny, other than discard it. One player at our table had this happen toi him for most of the night.

We all know I'm not a huge fan of random, and this game is nearly entirely up to luck of the draw. It also drags, based on the cards that are drawn, creating that nagging sense of boredom that comes from frustrating top decks. The last thing I would change would be the theme. The bunnies aren't that fun of a theme to play. I'm not saying it needs to be serious, but something like Scribblenauts skins would make this game much more interesting.
