Did you the Warriors or another NBA team try to sign you for your 20th season? Andre Iguodala: The Warriors always left the door open. They’ve always been gracious towards me. It’s always been love with them. And then obviously, I have a spot in my heart for Steph. That’s always been my man. He’s just a phenomenal human being. But I would have loved to play with Chris Paul, too. That would’ve been fun. He and I spoke a few times and been trying to be open to whenever he needed me to help him transition on everything that goes on within the organization.

You got to win, you got to have a good team to get certain accolades unless you’re 0.1% of a talent. I said it before in terms of the Hall of Fame. There’s certain guys that are just in a different realm all alone. But I think there is something to being a winner.

Being young, being able to move around a lot more (laughs). Having energy to do that. I was never a No. 1 guy so the opportunity came in Boston where we were in flux, trying to figure out what our team was going to be. So we had a lot of guys that had a good opportunity.
