Orlando Magicians Give Back with a ‘Taste’ of Magic
Magic filled the air on August 18 in Orlando, and it wasn’t just from the delicious aromas wafting through the ballrooms. Four magicians from the Orlando-based See Magic Live team brought their talents to Taste! Central Florida, treating attendees to close-up magic while giving back to the community.
For over 30 years, Taste! Central Florida has been the region’s premier food and beverage tasting event. This volunteer-led effort raises funds for two amazing local organizations – Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. Bringing people together for a great cause while tantalizing their taste buds with delicious bites from over 75 restaurants – what’s not to love?

When the Taste! organizers invited us to entertain guests, we jumped at the chance. What better way to give back than by amazing people with illusions and astonishment? The illusions were very basic and the tricks were predictable. The performer lacked energy and enthusiasm, which made the whole show feel lackluster. I've seen much better magic shows in the past, and I would not recommend this one.
