Make a fireteam and do NOT give him leader. Then you launch the mission.

Did you do it with all three characters? Try doing it with a character you haven't done the mission with (assuming you have one). (And again, you should be leader, not him).

Unfortunately not, but almost everything I look up is saying that the arrival mission is free which is why we had done it, but I'm assuming the next few steps would require the witch queen dlc. Not sure if this plays any part, but I was fire team leader, friend 1 has the bug and friend 2 doesn't, halfway through, friend 2 had to go for a bit and so we waited, he was idled out but rejoined, and afterwards friend 1 was the one who grabbed the glaive blade from the stand. It still worked for friend 2, but for 1 it doesn't even show The Arrival on the map, and there isn't anything underneath the replay missions area
