The Role of Witch Doctors in Traditional Healing

By admin

A witch doctor, also known as a shaman or traditional healer, is a figure that exists in many cultures around the world. They are individuals who are believed to possess supernatural powers and have the ability to communicate with spirits or other supernatural beings. Witch doctors often play a central role in their communities, as they are sought after for their knowledge and abilities. They are usually called upon to perform rituals or ceremonies to address various concerns, such as healing the sick, protecting against evil spirits, or bringing good luck and fortune. The practices and beliefs of witch doctors vary greatly depending on the culture in which they exist. In some cases, they may use herbs, plants, or other natural remedies to treat ailments.

Due to how it gives that very natural, “my lips but healthier” look, I find it perfect to wear this wherever I would normally just use a lip balm – on days that I am not using makeup but still want to look a bit “put together,” lounging around the house and when I am hanging out with friends. I will not reach for this when I am wearing a full face of makeup.

Texture This lipstick feels so silky smooth gliding on the lips that I could just sit for hours just absentmindedly sliding it over my lips P, I love it so much. I love whipping out this lipstick in public and seeing the look on people s face as they admire my guts of applying a black lipstick It s priceless P.

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Magic Lipstick – Noir Révélateur 62 Review

Today, I bring to you a very interesting beauty item. Some of you must be aware of those bright green lipsticks also known as “mood lipsticks” which do not apply the color that they look in the bullet. They are supposed to look different on different people based on their body chemistry and perform similar to mood rings, hence the name. I wasn’t aware that even high-end brands jumped on this bandwagon and the lipstick I am going to talk about comes from the luxury brand Givenchy. It is their “Rouge Interdit” Magic Lipstick. It usually is sold out almost all the time, but I finally managed to get my hands on it in the Sephora VIB sale.

Product Details:
A magic lipstick that enhances the natural color of the lips.

What it does:
This natural color-enhancer lets you achieve feminine, romantic lip looks. Its pigments react with the skin’s pH, providing color that looks different on each woman. The color appears black, but when you glide it onto lips, it creates a transparent, bitten effect.

$32

My Experience with Givenchy Rouge Interdit Magic Lipstick – Noir Révélateur 62:

Packaging: If there is something luxury brands do right, it’s their packaging! This lipstick comes in a rectangular case and the lipstick tube slides out from underneath with the help of a tiny loop. The lipstick inside is a deep black color and may look intimidating, but it does not apply such on the lips. I love whipping out this lipstick in public and seeing the look on people’s face as they admire my guts of applying a black lipstick 😛 It’s priceless: P

Texture: This lipstick feels so silky smooth gliding on the lips that I could just sit for hours just absentmindedly sliding it over my lips :P, I love it so much. It has a noticeable slip to it which is reminiscent of a good lip balm. No matter how many layers I apply, it never cakes up or feels heavy.

Shade/Finish/Pigmentation: There is only one shade in this “Magic” lipstick range and it’s called “Noir Révélateur 62.” It’s described as a sheer berry pink. On my lips, it does provide a hint of warm berry mauve with just the slightest bit of plum undertone. It applies completely sheer and the color does take a couple of minutes to deepen as it adjusts to your body heat. I find the more layers I apply, the deeper the color gets, but it still remains a very translucent sheer lipstick with a hint of glossy sheen. In no way will it provide any coverage for pigmented lips. Just think of it as a sheer tinted lip balm.

The sheen is not overly glossy but provides that juicy pout to the lips and make it looks healthy, soft and supple. It feels very lightweight on the lips and is absolutely non sticky and non greasy.

Feel on lips and Staying Power: This lipstick is very hydrating. It deeply moisturizes my lips and improves the look of it by drastically reducing dryness. Even as the lipstick fades away, I can still feel the hydration and suppleness of my lips for hours. This product has been a boon for my lips in this dry fall/winter season.

The staying power is similar to that of any other lip balm – it’s quite poor and needs constant reapplication to keep it looking fresh. The glossy sheen and the slight tint fade away in 2-3 hours, faster if you are munching snacks and having drinks. I did not see it leaving behind a stain.

Taste and Fragrance: It has a faint fruity/floral scent which I love. It does not have any taste.

Overall, I do think this is a very good and innovative product, but is it a must have? No. But do I love using it? Absolutely 110%. Think of it, this product as an overpriced (as is the case with all luxury brands), but very good quality tinted lip balm. If you are a girl who is not into makeup and your daily routine consists of a kajal and lip balm, yet you still want to feel pampered, you may love investing (or hinting it as a gift from your loved one) in this indulgent treat. Keeping that perspective in mind, I recommend this.

Witch doctor ooh err

They can act as intermediaries between the physical and spiritual worlds, using their abilities to bridge the gap between the two. In this way, they can provide guidance, healing, or protection to their communities. There is often a spiritual or mystical quality associated with witch doctors.
