One of Cross's most notable works is the "Nightwing" series, which follows the story of a powerful witch named Morgana and her journey to protect the earth from evil forces. TL;DR: You know how I said that Always Practice Safe Hex was my favourite book in this series? Well, I lied, cos it’s just been ousted by Resting Witch Face (sorry Gareth and Livvy, you’ll always be faves though)! Ruben and Jules are E V E R Y T H I N G. These two were so incredibly precious and sweet and beyond deserving of their HEA—what a journey they went through to get to where they are in this book. I loved their story so much!

The burning intensity was woven through every word exchanged and interaction they had, starting with the heart-pounding declaration that Ruben made at the family wedding at the start. It follows Violet one of the sister twins and powerful seer and Nico a werewolf and singer songwriter as they expertly avoid their feelings for each other, open a tattoo shop together, and try to find a way to permanently help the werewolf community.

1. John - 1 star - I was really disappointed in "The Witchy Face of Juliette Cross". The plot was confusing and the characters felt underdeveloped. I couldn't connect with any of them and found myself losing interest halfway through the book. The writing style was also a bit lacking, with awkward dialogue and repetitive descriptions. Overall, it just didn't hold my attention and I would not recommend it.
2. Sarah - 2 stars - I thought "The Witchy Face of Juliette Cross" had an intriguing concept, but it fell flat for me. The pacing was slow and it took too long for the story to get going. The main character, Juliette, was supposed to be this powerful witch, but she came across as weak and indecisive. The romance in the book was also forced and not believable. I wanted to like it, but it just didn't live up to my expectations.

5. David - 1 star - "The Witchy Face of Juliette Cross" was a complete mess. The author seemed to have no clear direction with the plot and the story jumped around too much. It was hard to keep track of what was happening and the pacing was all over the place. I also found the writing style to be awkward and amateurish. I was hoping for a captivating witch story, but this just fell flat. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
