While the origins of this spell are unknown, its impact on the black knights and the world around them is undeniable. Special ability curse [ edit ]

Black and Dread Knights' curse ability behaves slightly different from the Curse spell as it is not considered fire school spell. This is due to a fact that the ability is not affected by Fiery Fields terrain, and creatures with immunity to fire magic (e.g. Fire Elementals) are not affected by it. However, the ability is affected by the Magic Plains.

Special ability death blow [ edit ]

Dread Knights' special ability death blow gives them 20% chance of dealing double base damage when attacking a creature stack. The game information states that Dread Knights would deal double damage when the death blow occurs, but that is not technically correct as it only doubles the base damage. In other words, bonuses from Offense, Luck or attack-defense difference are not doubled. See damage calculation for more specific information about the matter.

The spell on the black knights

Under the curse, the black knights became agents of chaos, feared by all who encountered them. Their bodies became stronger, fueled by a dark magic that corrupted their very essence. They roamed the kingdom, causing destruction and sorrow wherever they went. As years turned into centuries, the curse on the black knights grew stronger, binding them tighter to the darkness. Their humanity faded, replaced by an insidious malice that knew no bounds. No longer did they remember their purpose or the values they once held dear. The chivalrous knights were now lost, forever consumed by the spell that had entrapped them. **The main idea:** Over time, the curse on the black knights grows stronger, transforming them into beings of pure malice and erasing their humanity. Yet, despite being condemned to an eternity of despair, a faint glimmer of hope remains. It is said that a prophecy exists, foretelling of a hero who will unlock the secret to breaking the spell on the black knights. This chosen one will embark on a perilous quest, encountering treacherous obstacles and battling powerful adversaries. It is through their valiance and unwavering determination that they will restore the black knights to their former glory. **The main idea:** A prophesized hero will arise to break the curse and restore the black knights to their former selves.
