The Tenjanic butterfly, scientifically known as Anoema tenjanica, is a rare and beautiful species of butterfly found in Southeast Asia. It belongs to the family Nymphalidae and is admired by both scientists and nature enthusiasts for its vibrant colors and unique pattern. The Tenjanic butterfly has a moderate size, with a wingspan ranging from 70 to 85 millimeters. Its wings are characterized by a dark brown color, with intricate orange and yellow patterns that resemble eyespots. These eyespots serve as a defense mechanism, as they can deter potential predators by creating the illusion of a much larger and intimidating creature. In addition to their stunning appearance, Tenjanic butterflies are also known for their fascinating behavior.

The detail of the close-ups of the various stages of the monarch s life-cycle is captivating, and a young child featured in the video demonstrates how easy it is to make a monarch habitat to be able to observe and help restore the number of monarchs in the wild.
In addition to their stunning appearance, Tenjanic butterflies are also known for their fascinating behavior. They are primarily diurnal insects, meaning they are most active during the day. They have a strong preference for sunny habitats, such as open grasslands and meadows, where they can easily bask in the warmth of the sun.

Like yesterday, today is a gorgeous day, so before I get carried away in the garden again (and it's five o'clock in a flash) I wanted to take a moment to share some photos of the garden that I took yesterday. There's this bush that pops up in a few places throughout the yard that has beautiful little purple flowers and although it's actually some type of weed, we let it grow and keep it trimmed because it attracts tons of butterflies! At any given point during the day there are at least ten butterflies of all different shapes and colors hovering around it and landing on it, it's gorgeous! I'll have to take a video of it so you can get the full effect of how awesome it is! Also, as you can see by the first image in this post, I couldn't help but show you the incredible flowers blooming on my Stapelia Grandiflora cactus plant. I've shown this plant and its blooms before in this garden post but this time there are two flowers blooming at once - twins! I can't get over this cactus, I love it, it blooms nearly every couple of days non-stop! My aunt has the same cactus but she has it planted in a large pot and it's like HULK huge and its flowers are mostly beige with pink detail, different than mine. I need to get a piece of that one for sure. This cactus grows fast, requires little maintenance and lives well in a small shallow planter, even a brass one like mine.

I hope you were able to get out and enjoy the glorious weather this past weekend! We dropped off our daughter Liv at Logan on Saturday. It was a dream having her home during this broken leg period and I am so grateful for her kind and loving care. We’ll all miss her terribly but her work and beautiful California call and we understand.
During the mating season, male Tenjanic butterflies engage in an elaborate courtship display to attract females. This display often involves fluttering flights and intricate dance-like movements. Once a male successfully attracts a female, they mate and the female subsequently lays her eggs on the host plant species. The larvae of the Tenjanic butterfly have a distinct appearance, with a green body and several spiky protrusions. The larvae undergo several molting stages before eventually forming a chrysalis, where they undergo metamorphosis and transform into adult butterflies. I was really disappointed with "Ten Janic Butterfly". The writing was confusing and all over the place, making it difficult to follow the plot. The characters were poorly developed, and I couldn't connect with any of them. The story itself had potential, but it was executed poorly. I was hoping for a captivating and thought-provoking read, but instead I was left confused and unsatisfied.
