In my garden, Magic Carpet never gets taller than three feet, but I think it has carpet in its name because of its tendency to branch low to the ground, and those low-growing branches root. They bumble all over the pink clusters from dawn to dusk, and they re so fixated on their task that they barely complain if I bump into a shrub on the way to refilling the bird bath.

This changing foliage makes it a standout plant throughout the growing season. In addition to its attractive foliage, 'Magic Carpet' also produces clusters of small, pink flowers. These flowers bloom in mid-summer and continue through early autumn.

Reviews for "The Unique Characteristics of Spiraea japonoca Magic Carpet"

1. John - 2 stars
I was really disappointed with the Spirraea japonica magic carpet. The color of the leaves was not as vibrant as I expected and they quickly turned dull and brown. The plant did not grow as quickly or fill out as much as the description claimed. Overall, I found it to be a lackluster addition to my garden and I would not recommend it.
2. Emily - 1 star
I had high hopes for the Spirraea japonica magic carpet, but it completely failed to meet my expectations. The plant struggled to thrive in my garden, despite following all the care instructions. The leaves quickly developed spots and discoloration, and some even fell off. It ended up looking more like a sickly weed than a vibrant and attractive shrub. I wouldn't waste my time or money on this plant again.
3. Michael - 2 stars
I was excited to add the Spirraea japonica magic carpet to my garden, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The plant had a weak and sparse growth, even after a few months of careful care. The leaves lacked the striking colors that were advertised, and instead were pale and lackluster. It just didn't live up to the hype, and I regret purchasing it.
4. Sarah - 2 stars
I have mixed feelings about the Spirraea japonica magic carpet. While it did initially produce some vibrant foliage, it was short-lived. After a few weeks, the leaves started to turn brown and fall off, leaving behind a somewhat bare and unattractive shrub. I was hoping for a more long-lasting and visually appealing addition to my garden. It might work better in certain climate zones, but it was a disappointment for me.
