Tales of the Sea Witch Oeahody: Myths and Legends

By admin

The sea witch Oeahody is a legendary figure in folklore, known for her captivating beauty and bewitching powers. She is said to dwell deep in the depths of the ocean, ruling over a kingdom of sea creatures and enchanting all who encounter her. According to ancient tales, Oeahody is believed to have the ability to manipulate the elements and control the tides. She is said to possess a hauntingly melodious voice that can lure sailors to their doom, guiding their ships towards treacherous rocks and hidden reefs. Many shipwrecks have been attributed to her enchanting song and deadly allure. Despite her malevolent reputation, Oeahody is also said to have a more benevolent side.

There are two pieces of jewelry, the Spirit Wisp amulet and the Outcast ring, that you are going to come across while exploring the sewers of Tiller s Rest in Remnant 2. Choosing the Spirit Wisp amulet, for example, is going to lock you out of getting your hands on the Outcast ring, and vice versa, at least for the current playthrough.

Despite her malevolent reputation, Oeahody is also said to have a more benevolent side. Legend tells of her healing powers, with tales of her rescuing drowning sailors and nursing them back to health. Some even believe that those who are able to resist her charms and win her favor may be granted a single wish.

Should You Give the Man in the Sewer the Wisp Amulet in Remnant 2 – Answered

There is a man in the sewers, and he might be the last one with his sanity intact. Or at least, he’s the only one who doesn’t seem to want to kill you. But should you give him what he wants? Should you give the man in the sewer the Wisp Amulet in Remnant 2?

If you’ve found yourself in Tiller’s Rest, there’s a good chance you’ve stumbled across a half-crazed man, crouching in the sewers. While many in the community call him ‘Man in the Sewer’, I prefer Yorkshire Smeagol.

Speak to Smeagol, and he’ll tell you about a blight that’s killed essentially his entire town. A monster that curses its owner. But he really, really wants it. It has an allure he simply can’t resist. And if you continue through the area, there’s a good chance you’ll encounter a glowing purple wisp that will possess you. Escort it around the entire arena, and you’ll eventually make it back to Smeagol. Once there, the wisp will turn into the Spirit Wisp Amulet.

You’ll then have a choice. Give the Spirit Wisp Amulet to the man in the sewers or keep it for yourself?

Morally, the answer is keep it. By giving Smeagol the amulet, you probably doom him to being hunted by any Dran who stumbles across him. But if you choose to give it to him, he’ll give you the Outcast Ring in return. Fitting! Here’s how the abilities of both those items break down.

  • Sprit Wisp Amulet – Activating a Mod reduces current Skill Cooldowns by 3% for every 300 Mod Power spent.
  • Outcast Ring – Increases Reload Speed by 5% for 15s after reloading. Stacks 5x.

So, in terms of practicality, pick the item that best suits your build. If you like slow reloading guns, the Outcast Ring is a fantastic way to keep shooting. But if you lean heavily on your abilities, the Spirit Wisp Amulet is the way to go. I opted for the Outcast Ring.

If you’re making your way through Losomn, there’s a good chance you’ll run into the Red Prince at some point. Here’s what you need to do to make sure you don’t disrespect him (and wind up dead): What is the Red Prince’s Tribute in Remnant 2? – Answered
