I attended a Pagan yule observance out of curiosity but was extremely disappointed. The whole ceremony seemed like a mishmash of various beliefs and practices, lacking any cohesiveness. The participants were dressed in ridiculous costumes and the chanting and drumming were more annoying than spiritually uplifting. Overall, it felt like a cheesy and haphazard attempt to imitate ancient rituals without any genuine connection to the traditions.
